  • Shaking vs Stirring cocktails, how do you know when to use each technique? Why are there two different basic ways to make a cocktail? In this video I go over the basics of Shaking vs. Stirring cocktails and why each method matters. I also go over when to use each and how to shake a cocktail and how to stir a cocktail, and to know when you have done each correctly.
Cocktail making can seem complex and intimidating when starting out, especially when you aren't sure with cocktails you should stir and which ones you should shake.
Let me know in the comments below what you are thinking of this series! I really appreciate it.

As for the Gin it's called Principe de Los Apostles and it is absolutely magnificent! I use it in quite a few of my original cocktails at my restaurant!

@@Lui_Fern Oh of course! Hahaha I had my thoughts on Principe de Los Apóstoles, I think is the best gin we have here so far. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Ok I don't take more time from you. Have a nice weekend and I'm proud that this gin is representing my country in your bar! ;) hahaha

I usually make a very average margarita. 3-2-1 Tequila, Triple Sec (I dont care for contreau) and fresh lime juice. usually i just give them a quick stir and often have to top with club soda to make it palatable. Used the same recipe and shook the $@!T out of it and hot-damn... I made a fantastic cocktail. That "if it has fruit juice, shake it" was a great tip

Oh that's awesome! That makes me so happy that I was able to help you even a little! Yeah a lot of people actually don't care for the cointreau either.
