- In today's video, Coach Dan will run you through a bodyweight workout from the SC-Hybrid System phase of our in-season hockey training program.
This is an advanced upper body workout that utilizes a modified density-method to strengthen all of the hockey-specific muscles and movement patterns that are most important to stimulate during the in-season.
**Due to the high-volume nature of this workout’s design we recommend that you do not perform this workout within two days of a game (don't do it the day before a game day).
Here's the full workout:
A1: Yoga Push-Ups x 8-Minutes
A2: T-Scap Push-Ups x 8-Minutes
*Make sure you watch the video to see how the timed sets work
B: Bodyweight Inverted Row With A Supinated Grip - 3 x 5 [90 secs rest]
C: Dive Bombers - 3 x 5 [90 secs rest]
D: Shoulder W - 3 x 10 [60 secs rest]

Hello, so the superset works the way, that I do a set of Yoga pushups, and then a set of T-Scap pushups right away, for eight consecutive minutes without rest? Thank you very much for the answer.
That's the idea, leave some reps in the tank in the beginning though as you'll fatigue in the later rounds.
Because of lockdown where I live I’m not playing any hockey right now until at least Christmas does that change the rep max

Have you checked out ice time in Wisconsin? Coming from Minneapolis, we've booked ice in Hudson, WI. Not ideal, but worth the hour drive to get your fix

I bet there's other towns in Wisconsin that have ice, like Madison.
