Great point on hip activation early in training. This is a sports longevity issue as well as performance. I believe many jumpers knee issues comes from inadequate firing of the glutes and all stress is put on the anterior knee. I remember the day my knee went out on a jump after months of squats and deadlifts where my quads ached and my glutes were fine. had to go back to long iso hold's to get quad tendon healed.
Solid information every video, you never disappoint Chris. I also like how instead of saying what other coaches are doing wrong, you get your clients to ask questions. Respect on every level. Always look forward to what you have coming next
This doesn’t mean that the muscle as a whole doesn’t get stronger. Variations in strength will always be there with dynamic as well due to the leverage at the joints
Hey Chris, is this a full program with like upper and lower body strength and power included or will this be a vertical jump portion of a program to add to existing programs?
Tri phasic training involves doing isometrics, fast weights and then plyometrics. Triphasic training is sometimes compared to French contrast training where you do all these things in the one session through two cycles. Google cal dietz or French contrast training.
