One of the best, need I say more except confess that I never thought their style of singing would be suitable for kalam Iqbal and how wrong I was. Only goes to show that one can be wrong at any age, even at 79.

@@bnuengineer It takes a person of substance to admit that he was wrong :-D . Tanwir bhai I'll go back a few decades to touch on what Iqbal himself said. Ustad Fateh Ali Khan and Mubarak Ali Khan Qawwals have greatly helped make his poetry famous (maqbool) among listeners in what was then India. Tuqeer's ancestors (Rafique Hussain qawwal and party) were admirers of Fateh Ali Mubarak Ali and have obviously picked up elements of their presentations. Tuqeer happens to be Rafique saheb nephew and has obviously worked hard at his presentation skill to serve this dose of Iqbal's medicine to us :-D . Your love and affection is returned in abundance. Do stay engaged.

Can you recommend an edition of Iqbal's poetry in English?
@@SchokoKekseFTWThere are two books of Doctor Muhammad Allama Iqbal in English " The Development of Metaphysics in Persia " and " The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam " . I am not sure about his poetry translation but I am sure there are many websites online that have english translation of his poetry.
