I also agree with Tommy. McLaren are giving vibes of being slightly behind The chasing pack. A lot of people saying again Merc were actually slightly better then Ferrari in race pace so we probably see the Ferrari quali vs Merc race narrative again.
Kinda strange that you’re thinking that a Mercedes that got it wrong two years in a row and managed to finished P3 and P2 respectively would all of a sudden fall so far down the grid with a car that Allison was smiling about after testing.
I appreciate the use of "maximize" potential of the car rather than ''outperforming'' the car by Alonso/ Hamilton. Looking forward to this season. We have a lot of great young drivers, a lot of mid/ late twenty year old drivers that have something to proof to themselves and the rest of F1 as well as some veterans that are always good for a surprise.
Merc will develop this car a lot throughout the season as they are happy with the base. I see them being the 2nd best car in the 2nd half of the season.

2 - Verstappen wins the championship in Mexico.
3 - there are 2 driver changes (sickness) but I didn’t bother listing here.
4 - Danny Ric flounders at RB, and Checo keeps it together, leading to Lawson replacing Ricciardo at RB and checo staying at RedBull
Edit After Jeddah: well this is fantastic so far!
piastri hype train was mad at the start of the year
@@matmatmatamatvsjdjfh it really was mate idk what I was thinking 😭
currently with 3 races to go tommy is on average 3.05 places of and matt is 2.65 places of
This aged so poorly
the season about to kick off and I am so ready for it!!! it's been too long !... what an awesome environment, this museum. if I ever pop over to UK again I definitely will want to visit there! Saved both your top 20 predictions as screenshot and let's see how it pans out! Hugs to everyone here from Amsterdam
It is weird to see that Tommy has more faith in Ferrari than Matt. 😅
thanks a lot for that list. What exactly made you go to the museum and how were you allowed to shoot there?
Matt so overwhelmed by holding an F1 trophy he completely forgot what he was doing.
I've never understood why Hulkenberg has never been put in a good car. I'd love to see him alongside George next year, he deserves that podium!
He has underperformed. There is a reason no top teams want him after his year at Williams . Look, he have so many chances to get at least p3 and he bouch it. Even stroll have a few podiums.
Mercedes wanted him years ago but they signed Hamilton so of course they didn't pick him, in 2016 Rosberg retired but Nico already had a contract with Renault and he couldn't leave.
Speculating is phun!

Sainz in 8th with Leclerc in 2nd is crazy lmao
@@deeznoots6241 it’s just speculation, I hope for Charles P1, Sainz P2 but we all know that’s not happening lol. Would like to see an undefeated Ferrari season, RB with 10 double DNFs, Williams P2 in the constructors. Lots of wishes.😂
Another season of dutch/austrian national anthems 😂😂😂
🚮
I would love to visit the Silverstone museum one day. I first need to visit England, and then visit the museum, so I won't be getting that discount I'm afraid.
Hi Guys, all the way from Canada.
Lewis P7 is crazy man, have u seen last season? despite having a horrible car he still managed to finish 3rd without winning a single race
I have full confidence that Lewis will do much better than last year generally Mercedes.
Well, well, well...
The mighty Haas have punished your disrespect. All hail King Kevin.
Matt is not cooking with that top 10, putting piastri above lewis is wild. I doubt mercedes would be SO washed that lewis can't beat piastri on track
boy do I have news for you
i like the Silverstone Museum bid in this vid. Well done, me hearties.
I went to the Silverstone museum a couple of weeks ago
That museum actually looks really cool! Didn't know it existed
Great backdrop I bet you wish you had it for every podcast 😂
ive been waiting for this one
Went to Silverstone museum last yr while attending the British gp. It was amazing and i highly recommend going.
Btw Matt, dont worry about predicting Lewis so low down - even being a merc fan for as long as i can remember cant stop me completely losing all hope in them.
Excellent presentation & very well thought out. Thanks for sharing.
I also agree with Tommy. McLaren are giving vibes of being slightly behind The chasing pack. A lot of people saying again Merc were actually slightly better then Ferrari in race pace so we probably see the Ferrari quali vs Merc race narrative again.
Loving all the love y'all been given. Much deserved!
They wont, they need driver feedback and lewis wont give it to them
@@LawsonSims44 lol what?
@@Shea-austini think he meant that since he is leaving Mercedes at the end of the season, he will not be involved with car development at all.
Can't see Hulkenberg finishing behind Sargeant and unless the Hass got WORSE, I see Hulk a couple places higher.
FINALLYYYY, I have been checking for this video every hour for 3 daysss. I'm so desperate of F1 content at this point xddd
the checo predictions 💀
Bro the bottas chilling is the realest thing😂😂😂, he really be having the time of his life
Get your bets on at the bookies for K-mag scoring points this weekend. I have a feeling that the P1 curse is going to be the P1 good luck charm this year.
Bold predictions:
- Williams will finish ahead of Alpine in the championship, fighting with Visa RB for 5th
- Piastri will comfortably beat Norris in the team mate battle
- Perez will get the de Vries treatment, with Ricciardo being called up and Lawson replacing him at Visa Cash app
Tommy 5
Matt 4
TOMMY WINS
The only question is…do we put Logan Sargent P21?
What about Nyck Debris?
When you hear that Charles is minimally better than Carlos that’s when you know they don’t look at data and the George Russell disrespect as well
Coming here after Hungary, 7 different winners so far, NO one would have thought of this
