I forgot to talk about WHY this is a scooter skatepark in the video! haha, this was once a wooden skatepark that only allowed skateboards, so they rebuilt it to accommodate roller blades, scooters, and bikes. So this park, was literally built for scooterers, pretty crazy, and it's one of the best parks ever.
For those who can’t go outside... you can order a fingerboard / tech deck off of amazon. It’s a very good thing to stay connected to sk8boarding. Go have fun, and stay safe
It's the most satisfying thing. I can't stand when people edit their tricks and it doesn't land on the beat. It's one of the reasons I continue to watch his videos oddly enough. Side note, I just went back into his backlog of videos to see when I started watching and couldn't find the videos when i started, BUT i found the video where he and Sara filmed for the first time and it brought me back. lol
You have to do the best of what you got! Don't see this as a problem that you don't have park or a park that's just not that good. Work on getting the best out of the park you have. If you only have flatground to skate, start training on your flattricks, fix the tricks you have thought about fixing before. And if you have a shitty park, you will kill it when you take those skills to a good park!

I guess some skateparks are closed because at first it attracted dozens of kids to go play, which isn't quite the idea of social distancing.... obviously. A lot of skateparks where I live are actually covered with dirt to prevent people from even bothering to skate there.

ToastedPiplup that’s my problem. Like yes your allowed to skate, but the skateparks are closed. I’ve been skating only in my driveway or down my road a little. Teaching others to not respect signs during this time. Public places are closed for a reason. Yes there are no people there, but THATS THE WHOLE POINT. ITS CLOSED.
small skate parks in texas are open, also in the colony skatepark theres a police station right besides it so the cops would say something if you couldnt skate it
we are allowed to skate legally at skateparks, but there will be supervisors that will hand out stamps every 2 hours and you get 2 hours to go skating with a max of 30 people and after that you have to leave. sadly :/
haha the same rule applies for most states, it's just they use the expression "stay at home" but in reality the rules mean the same thing, you're technically allowed to go out and get exercise/skateboard in most states.
@Karina Amadu dont be scared, just commit and send it💪 If you are bad at falling, there are many videos on how to fall when skating. Most important thing is imho not to tense up and in your case i think your ankles are the last thing that get hurt, more likely you are gonna fall forward. The only reason why I think you shouldn't go out and skate is because, in case you get hurt, like, badly, nurses and hospitals right now won't be able to attend you. So, not only is it dangerous for you, but it also collapses the hospitals even further. Take precautions while you can, I kid you not, EEUU is gonna look really ugly for a few months. Stay safe.

Sergiarts Except no hospitals are overwhelmed in the U.S. Even in New York the actual number of patients is far lower then the projected number that was expected. The navy hospital ship & the Javits center are still mostly empty. They were supposed to be full by now. PS- IHME has cut their previous predictions in half & that was already factoring in social distancing. So the numbers have been way off. They played a big role in states shutting down. It’s having a devastating effect on the economy. 10 million unemployed likely to jump to 17 million when they report the numbers tomorrow.
Glad you’re safe and still killing it. We have a similar situation in Georgia (being able to go out and exercise and all) and I have been so thankful... love the inclusion of the FACTSSS
@Ant M i don’t remember exactly, but something like the colony wheel zone (at-least that’s what’s on the sign outside) (search up the colony skatepark and that’ll work just as well if you’re trying to find it )but I know that griffin middle school is the school next to it and the colony recreation center is next to it as well as a park(kids colony), a police station , and there’s a basketball court outside that has a hoop that always gets the ball stuck because he net is messed up. The street it’s on is north colony boulevard.
NGL that skatepark looks so fun for any technical rider for anything, Skateboards, scooters, roller-blades any maybe even BMX. Low-key jealous of the park. My local SP is taped off completely.
My god dude! You really are one of the most consistent and clean skaters I've ever seen. I live in central texas in a town called marble falls. The town used to have a Huge skateboard community...not so much anymore though. But we did manage to bug the city enough to get the skate park here. It is unique and fun plus marble falls has great views and scenery for your content. You should stop by and skate brother! We'd love to have you.

You're skating in public park wherein several people have been; handling everything and sweating on things. You proceed to touch your face, wipe your mouth and rub your eyes. It's not only about your proximity to another person. It's the fact that the area you're in has potentially been contaminated. Not to mention, COVID-19 apparently can live on concrete. I'm not saying this shit as a worry-wart. I go outside a lot too. But it's just something to think about.

I have been getting back into skating recently due to having the time. The only skatepark worth skating in my city is surprisingly small. It's a nice park, everything is concrete but I live in a pretty big city and every time I try going there are at least 15 people at this park even though it's crowded with 5. I've found that my favorite places to skate are the business parking lots that are generally closed after like 6 and on weekends. I'm sorry your comments have been bad lately, but believe me it's the vocal minority. Keep grinding and thanks for making content I can watch
Fair play, you have done your research and have been responsible. Can't argue with that. It seems the rules are similar where I am. I live in a rural area and have continued to skate on my own.
Went here today, first time at a real skatepark. I was the only one with a helmet and pads on, but everyone was cool and showed me love. I rolled in for the first time and hit that wave, A frame, and quarterpipe. I even learned to pump. It's a great park, and the skaters there are all cool 👍🏿
My grandma had tuberculosis in the early 80s and my grandad was a computer scientist so he had a bit of money and could afford to pay for better healthcare one of the wards had a place where they where encouraged to go outside and sit and stuff and she reckons that helped her get better cos when she was ill as a kid she was stuck indoors all day and her condition didn’t rly improve quickly.

That park looks wicked fun! It's important to note that the new coronavirus is different from the flu. So not everything that we know about the flu necessarily applies. However, vitamin D and exercise is SUPER important. It's nearly impossible to get enough vitamin D from food and going outside for natural light is not always a possibility so it's best to just supplement.

Sergiarts Except no hospitals are overwhelmed in the U.S. Even in New York the actual number of patients is far lower then the projected number that was expected. The navy hospital ship & the Javits center are still mostly empty. They were supposed to be full by now.
PS- IHME has cut their previous predictions in half & that was already factoring in social distancing. So the numbers have been way off. They played a big role in states shutting down. It’s having a devastating effect on the economy. 10 million unemployed likely to jump to 17 million when they report the numbers tomorrow.

@Ant M i don’t remember exactly, but something like the colony wheel zone (at-least that’s what’s on the sign outside) (search up the colony skatepark and that’ll work just as well if you’re trying to find it )but I know that griffin middle school is the school next to it and the colony recreation center is next to it as well as a park(kids colony), a police station , and there’s a basketball court outside that has a hoop that always gets the ball stuck because he net is messed up. The street it’s on is north colony boulevard.

The town used to have a Huge skateboard community...not so much anymore though. But we did manage to bug the city enough to get the skate park here. It is unique and fun plus marble falls has great views and scenery for your content. You should stop by and skate brother! We'd love to have you.

You're skating in public park wherein several people have been; handling everything and sweating on things. You proceed to touch your face, wipe your mouth and rub your eyes. It's not only about your proximity to another person. It's the fact that the area you're in has potentially been contaminated. Not to mention, COVID-19 apparently can live on concrete.
I'm not saying this shit as a worry-wart. I go outside a lot too. But it's just something to think about.

Regardless of what the law says and what loopholes you can find, it is not safe for the public and most importantly, your loved ones that could be older/sick and be at risk of developing serious symptoms should they catch this. This guy is clearly full of shit and is only taking this pandemic as seriously as will keep him healthy; he is not promoting what is best for YOU. I know it's tough, but it is possible life will go back to normal sooner than you think, as long as we tough it out and do what's right.

I have been getting back into skating recently due to having the time. The only skatepark worth skating in my city is surprisingly small. It's a nice park, everything is concrete but I live in a pretty big city and every time I try going there are at least 15 people at this park even though it's crowded with 5. I've found that my favorite places to skate are the business parking lots that are generally closed after like 6 and on weekends. I'm sorry your comments have been bad lately, but believe me it's the vocal minority. Keep grinding and thanks for making content I can watch

Went here today, first time at a real skatepark. I was the only one with a helmet and pads on, but everyone was cool and showed me love. I rolled in for the first time and hit that wave, A frame, and quarterpipe. I even learned to pump. It's a great park, and the skaters there are all cool 👍🏿
My grandma had tuberculosis in the early 80s and my grandad was a computer scientist so he had a bit of money and could afford to pay for better healthcare one of the wards had a place where they where encouraged to go outside and sit and stuff and she reckons that helped her get better cos when she was ill as a kid she was stuck indoors all day and her condition didn’t rly improve quickly.

That park looks wicked fun! It's important to note that the new coronavirus is different from the flu. So not everything that we know about the flu necessarily applies. However, vitamin D and exercise is SUPER important. It's nearly impossible to get enough vitamin D from food and going outside for natural light is not always a possibility so it's best to just supplement.

@John Hill I wouldn't necessarily say its "literally a scooter skatepark", not because I'm a scooter rider myself, but you said they rebuilt it to accommodate roller blades bikes AND scooters. So this is just a normal skatepark to me that everyone is allowed to have fun on and progress
