I am at our Aussie equivilant to beauty school on my lunch break, and I took most of it watching this and a few other of your videos.
I always do.
My philosophy is, I need to use every minute that I have spare to educate myself outside of the four walls of beauty school. The way the world is evolving in trends and techniques etc, beauty school can only teach you so much... their main focus is getting your fundamentals right.

Really helpful. Thank you. I have very thick hair and hairdressers always approach my hair with just standard layers and medium to low elevation and I can never get a cut that works for me. Your vids have helped me understand that each type of hair and different densities require different techniques.

Hi Matt, I do so love what you share with us, THANK YOU so much!!! I have a cut request which is a little strange-ish, but I have a client who wants a "Bowl Cut" which I am hoping has a much cooler way of wearing now than back in the "Mushroom Cut" days... Any hip ideas on the Bowl Cut concept I would really value, as I feel a lack of know how here...

Being that tbm can make more cut in curly hair. You are the only one who shows you the precise techniques of modernity in curly hair. Dumb question because I sort of answered my question with leaving all hole kind of behind the ear with the face-framing my mom's hair is thinning really bad on both sides right at the top of the head where it begins to curve down but still wants a very nice face frame there anyway without creating a hole,? I have tried everything

Could you do a long hair to pixie cut tutorial?
How do you cut the rest of the hair at the top? I did this for my niece since she has super thick hair, way thicker than that. I just didnt know what to do with the top part so I just guessed lol but she loved it. I cut it a little lower than shoulder length but I should have done it with her long hair cz it would have just added more prettiness to the hair, especially with having super thick hair. It just would have just added more waviness since it's is already wavy, which she did get.

I am new to your channel and I have thick hair at the top of my head going back to the crown of my head. I noticed in this video that the crown of the head looked like you didn't cut as much. What kind of cut do I do for my hair?
I just downloaded sideline, have you had any dropped calls? Calls that come in late and become instantly missed? I used the godaddy app for the same feature, these were some of the most common issues I faced.
Also the go daddy side number app didn’t even notify me when I would receive a text.

Hi Matt, I'm not a hairdresser, just a client. How do I find a hairdresser in southern minnesota that can do this haircut on me? Or, how do i explain that I'd like them to do this for me? I'm always afraid that if i pull out this video and ask them to watch it that i'll be poking a bear! I'm desperate for a great hairdresser that can do the styles you create! What about clients with varying densities? Many, especially "older" (30+) women have less hair around the face while still having loads in the back.
I'm different . my hair is very dark and thick. I have a lot of hair in the front and less in the lower back, is more thin and lighter color. It's weird and sadly I've never got a nice haircut ;(

yes everything just came directly forward for the tease cutting
