I see you lose oil on the right side of the engine. Probably issue with cable cover that runs in the alternator. Mine has just small droplet but it needs to be fixed.
I fixed my problem using special silicon for the valve cover or oil pan 315°C heat resistant. I just cover the oil leak and it is working like a charm.Engine now dry...😁
I rounded off my oil plug cap and I'm in for a world of shit😅 brought my bike he used and didn't realize that the o-ring is missing so I've been doing oil changes on it for quite a long time not knowing that it was missing an o-ring. I got a whole new set ready to install but I can't find a way to get that old one off
tap with chisel and small hammer in the correct rotation (direction ) once you get it out, use a good file and reshape the socket head of the bolt...its a 24mm drain plug to start with, reshape the head of the bolt to a 23 mm socket head, ...but this time when you tighten the plug (turn with your hand and then just a tiny bit more with the NEW socket size (you dont need to crank the oil plug in super duper tight ). remember the direction to turn off and on...I was tightening it when I thought I was removing it...(keep that socket and ratchet in your bike...just for your bike (etch, scratch market your ratchet so you wont forget which way to turn to take off the plug)
Bonjour, J'ai vu la vidéo magnifique car je ne comprends pas anglais je voulais savoir combien de litres huile dans le moteur svp . Pourriez-vous m'envoyer pour changer huile de transmission. Merci d'avance 😊
Great video! Looking at getting my wife a Silver Wing. Quick question … we’ve driven two so far. Do they all have a greater VIBRATION at lower speeds, lower RPM’s? It just feels a bit excessive. Thanks so much! Steve ~
no they usually are pretty smooth. Unusually smooth. My st1300 is very smooth as well, but sometimes things like tires cupping will give it a strange vibration.
@@motardsquid … interesting, I also had an ST1300. Loved it! A heavy bike, but fast and quick. Three years ago I picked up a 2007 Goldwing … have thoroughly enjoyed this one!! Rides so well. The Silverwing is going to be for my wife. Thanks again!
Cool. Straight to the point. Easy to do it. Thanks a lot for sharing it.
Thank you for sharing, made it a lot quicker and easier for me to change my oil.
Is there a gasket of some kind on the oil plug? I feel like I might be missing an o ring or something on the plug.
