"$300 guitar man, don't talk it down. That's all the money you should have to put in for a quality guitar"
Thank you for saying this! I completely agree.

My fiance got me this same series, but it's the King V in Ferrari Red. I'm shoked at how killer it plays and sounds. Best bang for your buck out there.

I have the King V model, you honestly don't even need to change the pickups, they are already very good. Jackson has THE best guitars for a cheap price.

I bought this model about a month ago. While the pickups sound pretty good (they can be kind of noisy) and I love the look of them, I'm changing them to some SD's, a Dimebucker in the bridge and a Pearly Gates in the neck.

  • @mikefrombloodofthewolf7076

Great playing! Those Jackson pickups really aren't bad at all. I swapped out the bridge pickup on a JS32 Dinky I had with a SD Distortion and there was little to no difference. Those are great budget guitars and also great modding platforms.

@@loriranee9201 I have the same model and played the guitar on several amps and the auestion is Yes!
I forked out a couple of bucks and had the bridge set and intonation set and now she play's like a dream besides a little dropping here and there.
Also it depends on your amp and what your using.

have one on order, JS32T black with white bevels.
the JS32 series are very good for the price IMO, I had two JS32 Warriors with the FR, sold those and found a Jackson X Series CDX22 Concorde in Snow White which I really wanted with neck thru, Fender strat trem bridge, locking tuners in snow white.
May upgrade the pickups and wiring to use coil split to add the clarity of single coils.
The fit, finish and quality of my Made in Indonesia Jacksons are all better than I expected. Minor setup and intonation and they were ready to play and sounded great IMO.

I like what you said. You were very honest, a $300 dollar guitar is all you really need to spend nowadays. It should ring out and feel a certain way otherwise don't buy it. Jackson's are 4really good. I have one with a Floyd, it stays in tune and is a great RR3!! A string lockdown screw can break so just be extra careful. I would even get another one. They're that good!!

The Jackson high output humbuckers are super awesome and mighty - in fact i`m not changing them - was thinking of Duncan Seymours or EMG - these i`ll get for another guitar i`m hopefully buying for Christmas ;) if i can wait till Christmas that is 😉😊

  • @jdl9679

Lots of people talk down but they forget the target for these guitars. They are for beginners that are learning and want to get started with something cool. Do they really expect a beginner to dish out 1k to 2k on a guitar that is for professionals that tour? Doesn’t make sense. Yeah at some point if I get to that point and can learn everything I’ll upgrade but until then my Jackson is amazing and I’m happy with it.

    • @alexanderholden82
      @alexanderholden82 4 ปีที่แล้ว

It's not a Basswood body... It is Poplar as described on Jackson's website. And the fingerboard is not Rosewood as many people seem to think, it is made of Purple Heart / amaranth.
