MultiZone Production is indeed a proven idea in a new package, Kongsberg i-Cut Vision users could do a version of it already for years.
However, the new kind of MultiZone Production offers an elegant and user-friendly way of working. And what’s more, this kind of production does not demand any additional table hardware components, and the Kongsberg table switches on the vacuum automatically which speeds up production.

How do you tell the cutter when each side is ready, and activate the vacuum. Does this have to be done at the workstation each time?

+stumpyjoe24 Telling the machine that a Zone is ready and activate vacuum is as simple as a one click action on the Canvas. The software automatically detects how many Vacuum Zone is needed based on the job(s).
Did you know that you can even work with multiple sheets. On a Kongsberg 24 you can place as many as 12 A3 sheets in one Zone. That will really boost your production.
