Damn, that was fast and simple explanation, thanks for the video
Excellent video, to the point instructions with no bs in between.
Salamat its means thank you very much for the tutorial. My step dad and I work on it. Its wasn't bad at all. Now my ride is smooth and no more knocking sound.
@@Playtrack22 pwede ka naman! I hope that is how you say you're welcome. I'm glad you got it fixed 👍
Great video. Those sway bar links are a major pain. I could not get mine loose. Off to a shop it goes!
Just cut them. Easier and cheaper than a shop for a $10 part
@@SR9CPL also can put a hex ratchet in front.
I'm busted out laughing when you said we're just going to buzz that right off there I thought yeah right bulshit I usually take a grinder and cut them off LOL
Well done video. Glad you were able to demo sway bar link "option." Those types of issues almost always happens to us DIYers. I assume the right side R/R is similar? thank you for sharing.
@@greenjondear Yes, the right side is the same 👍. Believe it or not the sway bar link came off that side without an issue.
Thank You For You video It Really Help lot 👍
Glad it helped
Great video, thank you!
Thank you subscribed…
Glad this was helpful 👍
Well done. Thanks for sharing. Do you recommend replacing all sway bar with the job. Also, can you believe that Goodyear quoted me $3,800 to replace all four struts. I just bought Monroe struts from RockAuto for $500.
@@ouks5 It wouldn't hurt replacing the sway bar links as well if you'd like. It would be a repair of opportunity 👍
When you say both sides jacked up at the same time what do you mean ? You mean jacked from center ?
Using jack stands, lift one side and place the jack stand under it. Then Jack the other side up and put another stand under it so both sides are off the ground. I'm not sure you can lift both sides from the center.
Great video brotha🤙🏽🖤
@@dezirtboyz3575 Thanks! Glad this was helpful 🙂

Is it recommended to change the sway bar link?
@@airasaludsevidal7002 typically you only need to change the links if they are bad or if you can't remove the nut. But if you want to go ahead and replace them anyway that could save you a headache 👍
Is it necessary to replace the springs?
@@jamesdeguzman9335 You can reuse your original springs. You'll need to disassemble the strut with a special tool. You might be able to rent it from the auto parts store.
Why don’t you grease the bolts as you put them back on ?
Good question. You should never grease bolts unless the manual specifically instructs you to. A lubricated bolt will have a higher clamping force than a non lubricated bolt. If it's not designed to be lubricated you can add stress to the bolt and other components.
Are these quick struts that come preloaded?
Yes. I've found cheap quick struts are not good but Monroe or KYB are good brands.
Nice Video amigo
Where did you get the struts from
The local parts store 👍
Would you recommend getting an alignment after changing out the struts? Thanks
An alignment never hurts. If you plan on keeping the car for a long time I recommend asking if they offer a lifetime alignment. It will cost a little more upfront but it's worth it 👍
