About coffee. Turška kava - Turkish way of preparing it. First bring water to a boil in a "džezva" on a stove. Stop the stove/fire/whatever. Put the ground coffee in the water, mix it with a spoon and bring it to slow boil again. Watch it because it can overboil easily Wait a few moments for a grounds to settle at the bottom (or not :D) and pour it in the cup. Some people add sugar or/and milk
As the other comments mentioned.... to prepare Turkish coffee, you need a designated coffee pot called džezva (it costs 10-15 EUR, you can buy it in maxi I think). You bring water to boil, take it off the stove, mix the coffee in, and then slowly bring it back to boil, at least 3 times.... And you can take bus no.20 to your faculty, it has the buss stop on the other side of the faculty building, much closer than you walk from the no.6 bus stop 😉
For making coffee, western Slovenians use Italian style mokka pot (which is better than bosnian style đezva imo, that the rest of Slovenians generally use), but I don't think that people actually make it the way you did. Also for student vouchers, you can have free sandwiches, burek and salads at Žito Bavarski Dvor, and there is also free all you can eat breakfast with eggs, toast, croissants and coffee at EF Menza (where you study), I think everyday from 7 to 9.
As a fellow American studying in Slovenia, it's nice to see I'm not the only one who struggles with the language :) Welcome to Slovenia!! If you haven't been to Cacao yet, you have to try their hot chocolate sometime!
no no, we don't make coffee like that ;) Somewhere in the comments there is a description of Turkish coffee. The way you made it is how you prepare instant coffee - which melts and doesn't leave any residue :)
Nice vlogs! But honey...whoever taught you to make coffee like that? This isn't cocoa :) Get yourself a nice dzezva and make turkish coffee, it's what most of us do. You can get a dzezva in any big Interspar or Merkur or similar. Pour water into dzezva (about half ful), boil on stove. Put dzezva off the stove, put in two or three spoons of the barcaffe you're already using. Put the dzezva back on the stove (watch out, it'll boil over fast!) I always wait for the coffee to boil up the dzezva, then pour the foamy part into a cup...then repeat till the cup is ful! Add sugar or milk if you'd like. If you do it this way, all the residue will rest at the bottom of the cup and won't float around as you drink it. Be careful not to drink to the very bottom or you'll have a mouthful of residue in the end - not fun! Then, if you're into it, you can turn the cup over and predict your future. Just kidding, we don't do that...I think. Enjoy!
The big building in Tivoli park is sports center. They have gym, indoor swimming pool, bowling, and sauna the last time I was there. They might have add something since then.
The newspaper building You are moving to has a nickname - Črna Vdova (Black Widow). I urge You to find out why it has such a nickname. You have nothing to worry btw.
tommorrow from 17:00 to 18:00 you have to be at prešerenov trg so you will see the turning on of the christmas lights all over the center of ljubljana it is a big thing every year
Yea like some mentioned, don't do coffee like that, Barcafe is already part robusta and not boiling it completely makes it even more acidic... You'll be better off just getting a Dolce Gusto machine or get it at a cafe :D ...
on 29.th NOVEMBER=THIS Friday in the CENTER Prešern statue LJUBLJANA at 17.o clock THEY WILL MASS LIGHT UP THE DECORATION LIGHTS, IT WILL BE HUGE PARTY. PLIZ FILM THAT. Thank You ;)
I lost it. Slovenes are probably the biggest coffee consumers in EU, I admit I get touchy about it. I even have a color chart to know how much milk I put for designated flavor lol.
Yo a question from a slovenian. What are the differences in Slovenia than America? I also recommend the grape flavour of Aloe Vera. Its a drink and in my opinion pretry good
Hi there Everyone Amazing Video👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I will be coming to Ljubljana soon. Please any local people here I need to get some information. Please reply Thank You 😊🙏🏻😊🙏🏻
Brate don't put boiling water in and then mix it, put the coffee in the dzezva before the water starts boiling, and stop using barcafe, its the worst, try Zlata dzezva.
Thank you. I was in Ljubljana two years ago and loved it. It's wonderful that you are taking us along on your journey!

And as I saw that you go to the church, there is a student mass every Wednesday at 19h. A lot of people attend and the atmosphere is really nice.
