Tammy that one piece of hair sticking straight up has kept me smiling through the whole show. I was so down with all that's going on. You have totally taught, entertained and made me laugh, thank you. My husband says he's never been bored with me in over 40 years, I believe Chris would say the same thing about you.

Oh yes. Its acceptable. Lol it was a debate with me and my husband. My momma used white Lilly. His momma used southern biscuit. Lol so needless to say I had to buy some and use it. So now whatever I see is cheaper at the time i grab it. He doesn't mind now. Lol just a fond memory. Miss my mother in law.

My extra biscuits that are a day or two old - I cut - brush with olive oil and garlic powder and cook them slow and long on a 325 oven get them brown and hard !! You can crumble them after cooked and use as croutons too!!

@@Bythaway564 Cathy.. I'm from the south, but I live up in Anchorage, Alaska. They actually sell White Lily AP flour in the Safeway (which is called Carrs up here) that is down the hill from my house. =😲= I'm not sure how many of the Safeway/Carrs stores sell it here (it may just be the one I go to) but it totally blew me away when they started carrying it! It sells out of it pretty fast every time they restock, so people like it. King Arthur is popular too... it's just not quite the same for biscuits. 🥞

When I was really little, I would ask my dad for a biscuit and “butters and syrups”, that’s what I called it, I don’t know why, lol. He always used Golden Eagle syrup for butters and syrups and Log Cabin for pancakes and waffles. And that man LOVED butter. He hated margarine, he always said if you’re going to take the trouble to make pancakes, don’t put margarine and syrup on them, use real butter on top of your pancakes. We’re coming to y’all’s house for breakfast!!💕💕💕

In my house I'm only cooking for one, so when I make pancakes or waffles I freeze what I don't eat right away. I just put a piece of wax paper between every two pancakes or waffles and freeze them in a ziplock bag. They defrost and reheat well in the microwave. Waffles can be put in the toaster too.
Have to be creative when you're cooking for one 😊

Hey, Ms. Tammy and Chris. 👋 I just finished watching the replay of your live broadcast here on Your Collard Valley Cooks TH-cam channel from three years ago. All three of these recipes look so delicious. 😋 I found it so cool 😎 how you can make biscuits in your air, Fryer.

Because, I cook so much for my elderly neighbors, I find myself watching and listening to your and your husband's video's like a TV show. I want to run to my kitchen and make biscuits something I was terrified of. I didn't realize I could make them in my air fryer. Love y'all.

Oh, when you mentioned making red-eye gravy with the ham drippings 🥰 My father‘s family settled in Cornelia Georgia when they immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1800’s and later moved to South Carolina. My father taught me to make red eye gravy with country cured ham and coffee. One of my favorites! I love it over grits!
