Thanks for the video! Very well recorded and straight to the point! One comment: WD40 or similar lubricant are really not recommended. They collect dirt and increase the wearing process overtime. Instead, silicon grease/spray is the way to go!
I used a "torch" to check for any debris under the cover and the whole car caught on fire! Just kidding, but it shows another difference in British words (torch) and American (flashlight) for the same object.

I was told that the engine should be running when I check the oil. What do you recommend? It wasn't mentioned here.
Hi Dave, no it is not necessary to leave the engine running when checking engine oil. Hope this helps.
