Idea for a hide and seek episode. Get a huge map that has 3 separate sections that are big enough to be areas on its own. Rock paper scissors and each person in order of winner gets to choose the section they wanna seek in. The players can explore their section before start. Now they start. The hiders have to go into the other seekers sections blind but will know their area nicely
I love scrap mechanic hide and seek. Watching 3 good buddies have wholesome fun is a fantastic start to the week, and the hard work of the mapmakers is given a great showcase.
I would suggest that for larger maps like this, rather than restricting hiders from being able to move at all, you restrict them to pre-defined quadrants. So, you pick an area and can hide anywhere within that area. This way, the beginning hints are designed to narrow the area down to a specific quadrant and then the later hints are designed to narrow things down to specific areas within the quadrant. This would allow for the hiders to still be dynamic while not making things completely unfair.
For maps with a ton of hiding spots that are never used this is a great idea to see more of these glorious maps that talented people have poured hours into
13:27 he should have hidden the hiding spot in the hiding spot so that when the hiding spot in the hiding spot was found it would hide the hiding spot in the hiding spot in the hiding spot Edit: he did do that 13:59
Find it funny how many times he nearly looked straight at a switch near the waterwheel and never noticed it. You'd think after so many maps, they would be able to notice switches like that.
@@anteshell At 24:50 right after hit smacks the water wheel. If you look to the right at the little rock formation you can see a switch. There is a little hole in the rocks, and you can make out the sidewall of the switch.
@@Nozerone Thanks. Turns out I actually saw that and kind of unconsciously realised what it was, but the information never went from that to full consciousness.
@@jordangalant470 I'm not sure where you're going at with that. There is literally no need to watch this video or comments at all. What you say makes no sense.
Idea for next episode: hud is off for everyone; one seeker; when he find someone, there are now two seekers; goal for second seeker is to find third player and hide in same spot without original seeker to notice (in this episode KaN would hide at 9:40 with ScrapMan); each player would have his own timer, that would run only when hidden - winner is who was hidden for longest time ...
suggestion to mapmapers if you want to make buttons into switches all you need to do is make a 1 tick pulse using like 4 logic gates(one and/or gate hooked into 2 and gates and a xor, one of the and gates is hooked into the xor and the xor is hooked into the other and gate, then hook the 1 tick into 3 linked xor gates for a button into switch setup.
Day 2 of asking for more loot box challengs, Day 242 of asking for more workshop hunters, and day 243 of asking for more brick rigs For all of you that wants any of these you can help too
Late to the party by a few months, but I really liked this map. The size is nice for re-playability. Even knowing all the spots it would take you a fair bit of time finding someone. As a player you will always be running into new spots you never knew before and some you forgot about. I wouldn't mind seeing a redo of this one since you couldn't have found all the spots leaving much to be seen.
Idea for the seekers. You don’t give hints at certain time stamps, the seeker can ask for a hint whenever they want. However, the catch is, if they ask from one person they add 10 seconds to their time at the end and if they ask from both within a certain time frame they add 25 seconds at the end
I hated the part at 12:55 where he uses the hiding spot wrong. He left the door open so he could hide behind it but then the switch is out in the open, that spot was made so you leave the door closed, then when he opens it you're standing in the 3rd spot behind the door, because the door opening closes the 3rd spot.
13:00 The hiding spot in a hiding spot in a hiding spot.. I am yelling at my screen that the 3rd deep hiding spot is supposed to be 'open' so that the finding of the 2nd looks like the find.. the way he's sitting w/ it closed leaves the 2nd spot revealed.
Idea: trail makers hide and seek: you guys would each build a vehicle that can be a sub, car, boat, and plane, and then each person is it once the one who takes shortest to tag each (hit with blast from small or large canon of choice) wins. Edit: another idea: what if instead of evolution you had to spawn in yours and the winning vehicle and combine them. It would be called salvage, the rules would be the exact same as evolution but with this little change.
An easy sort of way to do the spectator thing is just to have a 3x3x3 cube in the spot you wanna hide in and follow the hunter around, or find a spot to watch
You know when you’re looking at people’s different cameras, it would be cool if you added back so we could see everybody else where they were hiding in the post
Day 92 (there's no way you haven't seen this) of asking scrapman to do a multiplayer monday in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot set up in the mechanic station, and everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, no glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races along some road :)

That quarry spot was so good. To bad scrapman did not backtrack to turn the switches off. Probably would've helped him a ton.
We need more hiding spots like at 5:20 this 'Attack with hammer to open' mechanic. And other mechanics! Not just switches!
13:27 he should have hidden the hiding spot in the hiding spot so that when the hiding spot in the hiding spot was found it would hide the hiding spot in the hiding spot in the hiding spot

that circuit is called flip flop ;) in simple words : you have 1 memory block which you can set 1(on) or 0(off) :)

reminds me of the good old times when i used to play hide and seek with friends... beautiful memories
I feel like a toys r us or an enormous McDonald’s play place would be great ideas for hide and seek maps
