Dude come on I've just finished the movie a few hours ago, but the ones who haven't are going to get spoiled from this thumb nail . It's a dick move. As for this X-Men Vs Avengers shit you and nrs that will not happen this saga , XVSA is a completely different story . That will only happen after the soft reboot, as a result of them "rebirthing " the multiverse after battleworld. Battle world will be formed at the end of avengers 5, meaning 6 chapters will take place in between it and the resolution avengers 6 . This will be a case of what happened with Miles morales when he was brought over to 616 when we had all new all different era of Marvel in 2015 . Before we even get to AVX they will need to do the phoenix story as that's what that conflict is over. Trust me on this , as I said that it is way too early on in this saga to have an Incursion in this movie and I was right . I also said that the whole captain Marvel wong and banner wouldn't be the Illuminati at the end of this movie smh
Well we have the actor who plays the young Kang that could plays Iron Lad So no matter what I just want Iron Lad and Patriot as well as the young Loki Without forgetting the twins Maximoff To be part of the Young Avengers

i don't know if it was my low expectations but i had a lot of fun watching this movie; development for each character, awesome fight scenes, jokes that actually landed & lots of connectivity with the MCU as a whole. yeah things moved a bit quickly but personally i had no trouble keeping up... & we got classic nick fury in this, definitely redemption for secret invasion. & yeah paul i felt EXACTLY the same as you the first time i watched this but after i saw it again i was like "i need to stop watching so much youtube this is actually super entertaining."
i enjoyed it also, it was a fun good time, i was never expecting some extreme serious tone, I think the pacing was alright for 1h 45m long movie, personally I would have liked if it was longer to do that expanding on certain things....but then some people are "this is too long" 🤷
Beast said that Monica being in a parallel universe after traveling through a tear in space-time is impossible. If he knows about incursions, he would know that parallel universes exist, so it's probably not the 838 universe
I really liked the movie. I felt the villain was a bit one dimensional but overall the movie was a lot of fun. I think it should have been a little longer as it felt a bit rushed but I really enjoyed it. 8/10

It’s definitely not 838 because Beast knew Monica came from another universe but didn’t know how. In 838 they were fully aware of the multiverse and how it worked. Also Charles is dead in 838. Even if 838 was the X universe we saw for all those years no way Charles is alive again. The only reason he came back alive after X3 is because of him transferring his consciousness into his twin.
I loved this movie, never had so much fun in an empty theatre and it's a damn shame. The concept was so lofty and impossible that a couple of rough edits dont ruin it at all. I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

I think it makes more sense to be in the Fox X-Men universe. I just watched DoFP last night & when Logan wakes up he’s in 2023 & his alarm clock is futuristic.
That Beast and reality is not the Fox reality, they are Variants. It's probably the X-Men 97 cartoon reboot reality, he's CGI and even looks like the cartoon version.
The Marvels might have been the most fun I've had watching a Marvel movie since Ragnarok, while simultaneously being the most time spent trying not to cry since Infinity War.

I actually really enjoyed this movie even though it was spoiled for me last year already. The second act kind of made me feel like it was going to screw the pooch, but it quickly picked back up and I feel like it stuck the landing even though it's a bit underbaked lol. All 3 leads were great, but Kamala was the standout and Monica really stepped up and I can't wait to see them all again.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that Nick Fury acted like a completely different person in The Marvels than he was in Secret Invasion. The entire time I watched The Marvels I was wondering why Percilla wasn't on the SWORD base despite leaving Earth with Fury at the end of Secret Invasion.
Your take is weird to me, I really enjoyed the movie. 1 scene with fury in this movie was better than all of secret invasion and especially being off the backs of movies like thor 4, multiverse of madness, and quantumania, this felt really good. I agree it's not as good as the Loki finale but even Loki s2 was kinda bumpy in the middle. Given its fast pace I think it did a lot of things right. If anything I'm kinda bummed it was on the short side because I liked what they were doing so much. Khamala carrying a baby flurken around as a people-vaccum was hilarious and felt like something straight out of Guardians. The fights were better done than most marvel movies recently, not on pace with something like winter soldier but definitely solid. It was fun seeing them figure things out and work as a team and the relationships were interesting. Villains are usually Marvel's week spot so I didn't have any expectations going into this but the character more or less worked. Her motivations were clear and she wasn't just an evil version of the hero so even if she was under developed I don't think she was a bad character. I think they did a great job with making this watchable without needing to have seen 3 other tv shows to get what was going on but still rewarded the people it did. I wasn't a huge fan of the singing planet but the fact that Khamala immediately started jamming out was really cute and a great character moment. Maybe the one thing missing for me were some of the slower, more emotionally impactful moments that the first movie had but Carol and Khamala at the end definitely had some of those vibes. Overall very happy with the movie and I'm stoked to see where the X-Men and Young Avengers plot threads go
I have to agree a 6/10 is fair. The end credit scene masked what was wrong with the movie. Hopefully the last of bad MCU projects. Looking forward to future projects educated Loki. And yes I did also clap like a seal during the credit scene haha.

The Molecule man was epic and huge in the first secret wars series comic run. Dropped a mountain on the heroes. And got the villains home and ends up being the villain's leader when Doom goes after the Beyonders powers.
I don’t think it was 838 in the pc scene. Unless I misheard Beast, he didn’t know about the multiverse. It was a good movie not the best but still entertaining. Ms Marvel was a shining spot. I do agree it was a little rushed though. It should definitely do better in theaters than it probably will.
Cyclops needs his father and brother so bad for proper character development, if you dont start there in his youth, you will never have a good Scoot Summers character.

Honestly I loved the movie, it was fun and I laughed a lot. I hated the first Captain Marvel but this was great. I'm actually looking forward to watching it again.

I really enjoyed it i think it's the best MCU movie in a long time and had brilliant pacing. Sometimes making things shorter is much better. The only downside to me was how bland Zawe Ashton played the character she was very monotone which surprised me but thats the only thing.
When Wanda and Maria fought, you can see Wanda is draining Maria's powers, same as she did with Agatha: there's a point where her facemask disappear and she doesn't "shine" anymore, which is the moment she falls flat on the ground. Being so, the survival of Maria after being "embraced" by the statue are near to zero (never say never tho)
Sure sure Channel is literally called "Spoilers" and sure after a movie is out FOR A WHILE it is fine to put potential spoilers on the front page of my TH-cam no biggy. Here's a point of view to try, movies are stories told by someone who was there. Thor Love and Thunder was told by Korg, whose basically a kid telling a story to a bunch of adults. The Marvels is being told by teenager Kamala Khan meeting her hero and going on her first mission.
I loved The Marvels, so fun! I had hoped for a positive review & breakdown but fair enough. Do you think it could linked to the characters i.e. if they were different characters and not all women, you might have reacted differently?
I agree with your review. It wasn't the worst movie ever - not Thor L&T. But, it also wasn't the best. (Maybe it wasn't supposed to be?). I'm glad we got to see more of Carol Danvers. It wasn't horrible, it had creative, fun moments. The 3 Marvels were great together. It just felt chopped. Almost too short. It wasn't the hideous beast everyone was making it out to be.

I don’t think it was 838 in the pc scene. Unless I misheard Beast, he didn’t know about the multiverse. It was a good movie not the best but still entertaining. Ms Marvel was a shining spot. I do agree it was a little rushed though. It should definitely do better in theaters than it probably will.
No matter what they need to do Justice with Cyclopes, man needs to be written as good as Captain America if not better.
Cyclops needs his father and brother so bad for proper character development, if you dont start there in his youth, you will never have a good Scoot Summers character.

Some people have not had a chance to see the movie yet and youre throwing spoilers in thumbnails all for clicks. I didnt even get the choice to avoid the video until Ive seen the movie. I look forward to these but thats distasteful

This isn't the 838 universe because Xavier is alive in this end credit scene, and as we all know he died to Wanda in Doctor Strange 2.
I think this is more of a Deadpool 3 tease rather than an 838 tie in.

Honestly I loved the movie, it was fun and I laughed a lot. I hated the first Captain Marvel but this was great. I'm actually looking forward to watching it again.
First Captain Marvel was great. Second one sucked. The Marvel's is a atrocious attempt at a film.

I really enjoyed it i think it's the best MCU movie in a long time and had brilliant pacing. Sometimes making things shorter is much better. The only downside to me was how bland Zawe Ashton played the character she was very monotone which surprised me but thats the only thing.

When Wanda and Maria fought, you can see Wanda is draining Maria's powers, same as she did with Agatha: there's a point where her facemask disappear and she doesn't "shine" anymore, which is the moment she falls flat on the ground. Being so, the survival of Maria after being "embraced" by the statue are near to zero (never say never tho)

Here's a point of view to try, movies are stories told by someone who was there. Thor Love and Thunder was told by Korg, whose basically a kid telling a story to a bunch of adults. The Marvels is being told by teenager Kamala Khan meeting her hero and going on her first mission.

I loved The Marvels, so fun! I had hoped for a positive review & breakdown but fair enough. Do you think it could linked to the characters i.e. if they were different characters and not all women, you might have reacted differently?
I agree with your review. It wasn't the worst movie ever - not Thor L&T. But, it also wasn't the best. (Maybe it wasn't supposed to be?). I'm glad we got to see more of Carol Danvers. It wasn't horrible, it had creative, fun moments. The 3 Marvels were great together. It just felt chopped. Almost too short. It wasn't the hideous beast everyone was making it out to be.
THANKS, Paul!!! I'd like to say that I'm glad Feige "pulled me back in," too, but I've loved Marvel my whole life, so 33 movies in it would take a lot for me to completely walk away.
