@@lemon163 It's not that Enryu cares wether Jahad notices him, it's that seemingly no one knows anything about Enryu except that he killed an adminestrator, which wouldn't be the case if someone of his power climbed the tower.

My theory is that he entered directly in the 43rd floor, killed the administrator, left the thorn and got out of the tower the same way he got in. Then, seeing the administrator dead, they assumed he was a ranker because someone who hasn't climbed to the top yet wouldn't be able to do that. They probably thought he was a ranker no one had ever seen and that he went into hiding, since no one seems to know a way out of the tower. Who knows, he might even be inside to this day.
@@blessedisyou Some people left the floor as Enryu attacked, but my guess is that no one really knows what he looks like or even his name, since he probably didn't say it. So SIU drew him and everything to show the readers and such, but to the people in the tower, Enryu is almost like someone from a fairy tale and was given the title of ranker because of what he did.

So my theory still makes sense to me, thinking that no one knows who he is and assumed he was a ranker because of what he did.
1- Urek used spatial distortion to teleport on the floor of death 2- Gustang was fully aware of this ability and spoke of the consequences of a poor execution, implying he (and possibly other family heads) also possess this ability 3- Headon teleports between different floors. Throughout the tower. Inner tower, middle area, outer tower ===Irregulars may have the ability to teleport between floors like Headon. Not just from one part of a single floor to another like we saw with Urek Enryu just teleported like Headon. Maybe Headon even helped Enryu. Headon is a villain in ToG
Also, if he is the reason for the Red Witches, who can also move from floor to floor without the need to pass tests, then surely he can move floors even easier.

But Headon has done villinous things like making all the clones of White a regular after he lost to the Arie princess on the hell train. Makes no sense since he was already a ranker... Also let Rachel climb the tower even though she wasn't the one who opened the door.

I know Rachel is weak and even bam was weak in that position but I actually don't think headon can 100% deny whether an irregular can go up a floor or enter the tower. I think that's definitely why he gave bam such a hard test.

If i remember correctly it was stated that king zahard even on his best days cant harm an administrator. So I think its logical that they just gave him the tite of a ranked considering the fact that he did something that even zahard couldnt do. I may be lying cuz I havent read the manhwa in so long.
My theory is that Enryu is Bam and there will be a time travel arc in the future when Bam gets much stronger. There isn't much evidence for it except for the insane number of similarities between Enryu and Bam especially since Bam's new attack motif recently changed to rain (Like Enryu's) and they both have the same thorn. I personally want see Bam pull off the ultimate flex of killing an administrator and maybe go back in time and learn more about past events. Would be interesting.
My theory is that there are other Towers that exist on the outside and Enryu was the equivelent to the Outside God's Great Warrior and climbed to the the top of that Tower with him. That explains his expert use of shinsu. Also when you look at the panel when Enryu show's up on the 43rd floor, there's a massive door behind him, so Enryu broke into the Tower, performed the most ridiculous feat in history, and peaced out. The Ranking Bureau had no choice but to give him rank 1(at the time) due to his actions. There's also the rumour that he can create life so maybe someone actually saw him do this, and that means he did other things in the Tower, or it's just made up to add to his legend.
I think this could have definitely could be or could have been true. All depends on how siu is scaling the whole talse uzer verse now that tog is catching up to him health wise.
Either another Tower or that very Tower from before Jahad came. Either way, I think it's safe to say that it wasn't the first time that Enyru climbed the Tower and he most likely has reached the top of SOME tower.
To be honest, I am starting to get worried for tower of god… I’m worried that TOG may end up like the manhwa HCLW(Hardcore Leveling Warrior) in the fact that they may rush the ending of the story leaving all these questions like this one unanswered, because it started to get hard for me personally to keep track of all these unanswered questions, and I feel SIU may also loose track if he is not careful with this ever expanding plot.
To me there is too much left to cover. I think SIU will have to focus on certain aspects if he wants to finish it. Now we have all the other family heads, with lots of other questions. SIU made the tower massive which was good early on but now it would become impossible for him to cover everything in his condition in a reasonable amount of time before he retires (which I think could be in as soon as mabye 3-4 years unfortunately)
HCLW has a spin off (prequel) called “X & Ash” that takes place a time long before players were a thing so it might answer some unresolved lore questions Perhaps like HCLW Tower of God may find itself to have some of its questions resolved in spin offs.
I don't think the story ends before hitting 1000 chapters, my guess is around 1200. Honestly, it feels like there's a lot left to cover, but the stakes are getting higher everytime. This next arc will focus on the Jahad princesses and Traumerei most likely, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another family head joining in. SIU can't afford to have a sepparate and long arc for each family head, so they'll have to share or just won't appear at all (I'm going with the first option). Since the war with the Po Bidau family has basically begun already, maybe we'll see 3 or even 4 family heads in a single arc, which would be awesome. That said, I really think this could be a complete story if it reaches 1000 chapters. The only problem with this is what's after defeating Jahad and going beyond the 134th floor could be another long story.

I always understood it as option B. We do see a door opening behind Enryu as he enters the floor, and it doesn't seem like he'd have any reason to climb the Tower afterwards. A possible reason they didn't grant Bam and Urek a rank despite them proving they're ranker level while still regulars is because they were climbing the Tower and would become rankers soon anyway, so might as well just let them finish and do it formally. With Phantaminum and Enryu they knew these guys were easily ranker level but weren't going to climb the Tower so they just slapped the ranker title on them. What I want to know is if Phantaminum and Enryu's informal ranker status would prevent them from going to areas like the Hidden Floor. Of course with their powers they could almost certainly bypass whatever rule forbids rankers from entering, but I mean ignoring that.
I feel like it’s very obviously worded that Enryu Simply broke into the 43rd flower. He’s literally describes as having “invaded” the tower, killed the administrator, then left. So yes he was given the #2 spot simply off killing was administrator ( which I think is pretty reasonable ). + if he was powerful enough to “invade” the tower it makes sense that he already was strong on the outside hence his ability to invade and kill the administrator. I think the ranking office would give Bam high-ranker status if he killed a administrator or family head. Think about it that’s not the same as killing just a high ranker, when it comes to administrators (or family heads) you are literally killing a nigh-omnipotent being, and a being thought of as literally un-killable in the tower so I don’t think it’s crazy to have the feat be so insane that Enryu is just given a rank.
I hate how ppl say he was given number 2 from the act.. NO HE WAS GIVEN NUMBER 1 for this act. (Phantanium didn’t enter the tower at this point) meaning he was number 1 at that time. Later on he was demoted to number 2

Im a little worried for TOG cause i love all the mysteries and questions I'm excited to see how they all intertwine and contribute to the story and world, but there are just so many and SIU's health isn't the greatest. Im a little nervous all these questions like Enryu will go unanswered, and the story will be rushed. I hope the best for SIU, his health, and TOG.
b. It was stated that Zahard is weaker than the Administrator and Zahard isn't capable of defeating an Administrator. That's why he became the second strongest ranker. And Phantaminum is on the first place because of an Axis... It's like everything in the Tower(excluding Baam and Enruu) is the story Phantaminum created and is managing.
I'll admit that I don't know a ton of Tower of God lore, but I do think that Enryu climbed the tower. The wiki says that killing the administrator was his most interesting achievement, implying that he does have other achievements that we haven't been told yet.

In Adori's case, when she was an A rank regular, she beat a ranker,so the bureau decided to scale Adori's level comparable to a ranker's level. So in other words, Adori's status is A rank regular but her level were comparable to that of a ranker's level during the time she was A rank regular. I have a theory. It seems like the administrators and the tower itself has a plot against the Jahads rule and this plot has probably been in motion for ages. After all we have seen the floor guardians save Bam and his friends by teleporting them away on multiple occasions, such as that one time on test floor where the guardian teleported Hansung Yu. This plot against Jahad was probably made because of the damage the great families caused to the tower and its inhabitants such as Rak's race. When it comes to how Enryu appeared on the death floor suddenly, he most likely got teleported there by an administrator because he has a part in the plot too. We have seen a lot of prophecies hinting at a plot like this within the webtoon, like him leaving the thorn for Bam.
Why would the administrators bring him in just for him to kill one of their own and ruin their 'imortal' untouchable image? I don't think they had much of a choice, most likely it's the 'outside god's' own plan for Bam. As for administrator's planning it's been somewhat explained the administrator's bring in irregulars to shake up the tower when things go stale, like jahad and the ten families ruling for centuries, but I think enryu and definitely Phantomine are special cases even outside the towers influence.

The way the story is told, and the way the scene is drawn, it seems to imply that he just entered the Tower directly on the floor of death. But I think that there is a strong possibility that he entered, climbed, and kept a low profile. Especially since he has an official rank because that means the ranking office officially recognized this rank for him even though that means saying he is stronger than the literal king of the Tower.
In addition to this, even though we dont know much about him the head of the ranking office seems like the type of person who doesn't give ranks to someone who hasn't fulfilled the requirements to be a ranker.
What if enryu was a normal ranker but one day the outer god took control of him and went to the floor of death using his body, as to help Arlene rep.(just some brainstorming but pretty unlikely)
U see in the chapter where they show enryu, in the background you see a door opening, meaning he can open the door to any level of the tower like how irregulars do on the first level
How I see it is that Enryu was indeed the "Outside God"'s postman and so he went in the tower, delivered a prophecy, a weapon and a punishment for the 'corrupted' admin of that said floor. Directly entering at 43rd floor because of the outside god's power so he could fulfill his duty
Considering how important being a Ranker is in terms of social status, while it's not to benefit him directly, I think him entering the tower through unknown means, killing a floor Administrator, then peacing out without climbing the tower, and thus being just a 'regular' irregular, wouldn't sit well in the social climate of the tower. They kind of have to label him as a high ranker with such a feat, to make the other high rankers look 'mightier' by association of rank, if that makes sense. Which isn't a huge stretch considering everyone within like the top 15 are basically gods of the tower already, maybe they could lay the smackdown on a floor admin. A regular/citizen or even most rankers wouldn't be able to even guess how that would go.

My understanding when I read this was that Enryu, enraged by Jahad's desecration of Arlan's alter/home and Jahad's disrespect of the "outside gods", forced open the door to the 43rd floor (directly from the outside) himself and murdered the resident administrator. This was so unprecedented that the rankers/tower dwellers declared him strongest being at the time, placing him above Jahad on the ranking. Edit after finishing video: I don't think you have to climb the tower to become a ranker. Remember the ranker test that Bam took early in season 3 and that Maschenny also took to receive a ranking early despite not having finished climbing yet (perhaps I'm misremembering it). I personally think rankings are given to those recognized as strong or influential, and if they achieve enough they are given higher rankings earlier. So, if Bam were to suddenly kill a family head or administrator, I do think they would suddenly consider him a high ranker. Probably not above Jahad, though, since Enryu has shown killing admins is possible already.
After 1 year of story progressing... d) I think Enryuu was Arlene's companion during the time when 10 family heads were regulars climbing the tower (like V and Luslec are), thus technically finishing the climb and becoming a ranker. Then left the tower with Arlene maybe. And re-appeared at that one event. His name, from the time he was climbing the tower, was simply forgotten, only to be remembered when he killed the administrator.
The most likely thing is that he entered the tower and in maybe a year reached the top of the tower he probably then intended to visit the holy site of Arlene and well preformed a cleansing after what he saw was done to the place
We do know that Arlene managed to leave the tower through unknown means, so perhaps that path was how Enryu entered the tower, on the orders of Arlene (or the outside god) with the Thorns in accordance to Arlene's prophecy. And perhaps the location of Arlene's way out of the tower was on the 43rd, which is why Enryu appeared there so suddenly. That said, I could see Jahad's system giving Enryu ranker status because of his feats. If they didn't give that status to a person who literally killed an entity thought to be unkillable, and massacred an entire floor of rankers before that, then who would qualify as a ranker?
7:56 I dont see why a portal has to be involved and how he would instantly know how to control over 9000 bangs and enough power in each bang to kill an administrator so i dont think b is likely. sure enryu is an irregular but killing an administrator before becoming a ranker seems a bit far fetched but more possible than b. I think a is the most reasonable
I'd choose (B). Reason being, unless they wiped the history of Enryu climbing the tower after the FoD then it ought to of been recorded. Surely Jahad and some of the 10 family leaders would've also went to great lengths to approach Enryu had he continued climbing after the events of the FoD as well. The later point could potentially of happened, but it will take more time before we get any sort of a glimpse of this answer we seek. Enryu is incredibly vital to understanding critical aspects to the story, and will likely be held close to the chest until the time to expand into that lore is upon us. IMO once we start expanding into the lore we desperately need answers to via Enryu or whomever SIU chooses - we will be entering the end game of the story as a whole.
As we seen already, bam is now a ranker. You dont need to climb the tower to be a ranker, thats just the traditional way. Bam took the 'ranking test' or something and beat a ranker in a fight which then gave him a ranking, making him a ranker. The feats of Enryu and Phantaminium were so great that they were given rankings as their actions proved themselves without needing to go to a ranking office.
Bam is not a ranked and you do need to reach the top of the tower to be an official ranker. Only op irregulars exist outside that cycle. And bam isn't that level yet
I've got a theory ,not about enryu but jahad. Just like bam he has some kind of monster in him ,so probably like bam he was like created by the outside god and then send out to climb the tower . On his way he met other great warriors like any other shonen anime and they decided to follow him . He was the supposed "protagonist " of the "tower story", but he failed to meet the expectations of the axises. Then as a new story starts Bam ' replaced ' Jahad as the new "protagonist ".

Meet jahad and left then becomes the Rank1 highest ranker.
IMO, before Enryu enter the tower, the 1st Ranked is Zahard (Phantaminum came after Enryu). And after that event people keep talking and spreading rumors about Enryu is waayy more powerful then Zahard... I pretty sure that's a direct warning and insult to Zahard, but that doesn't change that most people agreed that Enryu is MORE POWERFUL, and because that event is to big and can't be covered up completely, they (Zahard and his army) just let it be, so people don't try to find out the truth (about V and Arlene)... YES, rank changes is just a diversion of issues, they put Enryu the 1st rank and making Zahard go to 2nd place is "hot topic" to covered up the story about Arlene etc.
He could also have been a regular ranker before he contracted himself with the god outside the tower like how Kallavan was normal before he took his clan's power for himself and it angered enryu seeing the Shire of Arlen who also made a contract with that outside god being desecrated and decided to intervene, or was commanded to intervene.
2 things. 1 we know irregulars can simply take the adminstrators test and move up. also if i recall Bam's test from Headon was equivalent to the 20th floor even though he ended up going to the 2nd after i assume Headon has discretion over where to start an irregular. 2. Ghost is in the tower. as far as we know he hasn't passed any floor tests but was able to pop up and face Bam recently. it could be a similar thing

Although I think that it would be pretty reasonable for them to just slap the title of ranker on him for killing the administrator, the theory that I believe is that the way OUT of the tower is through the next floor after zahard's floor (135 i think?), which then leads me to think that he might've just quickly climbed to that floor and got out, making him a ranker in the process has he got to the top. According to my memory and the rules involving the tower characters of the novel can ask Headon(the caretaker of the tower) when they are on the first floor to take the first test, that they want to take the test to a certain floor they want, isnt it? I remember few instances when characters asked administrators to take a harder test for climbing further than normal
I think there was a period where he had climbed for a bit cuz I can vaguely remember some characters saying that when he went around the shinsu in the air would become red but if that was the case that specific event would've had to happen on more than one floor at least in order for enough word to spread at least. maybe he pulled a pentaminum and climbed up all the way to talk to Jahad or something but Idk.

The way I see it is that Enryu didn’t enter the floor of death the way everyone else does. I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure when he appears there’s a door in the air behind that he came out of. So people just assumed he could enter any floor like this, and thus allowed him to be a ranker. I don’t know if there’s a lot of support for this, but that’s how I see it
I think that he is entered directly at the 43th floor. In his only appearance you can see the “door” behind him. I don’t think that he has climbed the tower to reach officially the title of tanker but people considered him as a tanker for what he did
@Dr.bonehead I have some questions about the doors to the tower, 1: at the begging of the anime we see bam and Rachel in front of the gates to the tower.. does that mean the tower has a physical entrance/ exit ? If so could it be possible for an irregular to not only open the gates of the tower to enter but also to exit ?
In Season2 Eo.241 Webtoons, when Enryu appears there seemed to be a door of some sort opened in the sky behind his shadowy figure probably something similar to spacial distortion that Urek used. I'm not sure why he's considered a ranker, but im leaning towards him recieving that title due to killing the adminstrator an impossible feat that undoubtly deserves one of the highest ranks in the tower.
bit late but yea I think he was directly sent to the floor of death, & I think this was kinda hinted at cause when he showed up in the panel we seen behind Enryu in the distance there is a door/gate almost exactly like the doors to entering the tower. they most likely added him as a ranker due to them not knowing who it was besides the accounts of very small amount of ppl that seen him & survived & they just decided only a High Ranker would even be capable of doing it.
My own personal theory, but follow me for a bit. Putting everything you have said in perspective, enryuu can teleport anywhere he wants in the tower. Baams second thorn can allow him to teleport as happened on the floor of death. So I think enryuu has never climbed the tower but is related to Baam in a way given that he appears when Arlene's idol is desecrated. Enryuu is an irregular so tower rules not applying to him would make sense of his sudden appearance and going as far as even fighting an administrator because anyone who has climbed the tower would automatically know not to mess with an administrator. The whole fact he even didn't fear to challenge one kinda makes me think he has never climbed the tower in the first place.
I think it makes so much more sense they just gave him the title because of this feat if you take a moment to think Phantaminum , he didnt climbed to jahad to take ranker s test or to get any title he just showed up and kill every ranker in jahad castle and spared 2nd best gurl yuri after that he just got to floor 138
my guess, from what i know, the tower existed b4 jahard jahard reached sm pre top floor and blocked it thus enryu could be sm sorta senpai to the 10 heads from an upper floor who casually left the tower without completing it
Maybe he started at the top of the tower and descended to the 43rd floor. Or maybe he entered at the 43rd floor, like perhaps there is an exit/entrance to the tower there.
Enryu entered the Tower on the 43rd Floor; we see this in the panel as the doors of the Tower directly open on the 43rd floor. Any titles were given after his feat, such as ranker because the influence of the event was so grand it literally altered the history of the Tower forever. For example, a whole floor was killed, and the administrator was killed, secrets of Irregulars entered the Tower, and a whole floor was blocked off. I would love to see how Zahard could explain a Regular did all of that. FInally, we must consider that there is likely no direct evidence left from the fight other than the after mass. I doubt any pockets caught the true events of the fight. The same would apply to Phantanimun.
Enryu could of possibly left for the 134 floor and is hiding waiting to go up more so he can leave. Or enryu I first appeared on the 134 floor and used the teleporting shinsu trick that urek knows to go down to the 43rd. It's one of those logic loops that there are technically 100s of answers for every problem with it. Like the outside god being an axis and writing knowledge into enryu's head or him being a self insert. Or him being someone able to watch the goings on of the tower from the outside. Could also be a plot twist that 9999 bangs weren't shinsu at all and that's just what people thought because what else it could it be. The easiest question to answer here though is him becoming a ranked, similar to the slayers passing and becoming a ranker. I doubt all of them were subtle and they were allowed to take the test. He's also a irregular he could also just take the administrator test, we have no idea the opinions of administrators and the 43rd floor admin seemed fairly loyal to the goings on the empire or at least didn't like it's authority challenged. Administrators have varied opinions like the one the second floor and him helping evankhell so it could just be Enryu left and took those tests from the administrators and they testified for his success to which would make him a ranked based on how the 10 great family heads are considered rankers. I for one believe Enryu is still lurking in the tower unable to leave until they continue up pass the 134 floor or perhaps he himself is partially conscious in each thorn fragment and in a similar form to white hiding on hell train, went into hiding on a upper floor.
arlen made a deal with the outside god for whatever bam is in exchange for something and enryu was sent to that floor to carry out x mission from the outside god that was in direct response to everything that happen with arlen bam and rachel. enryu also just straight teleported to the 43rd anyway.

My theory is that he entered directly in the 43rd floor, killed the administrator, left the thorn and got out of the tower the same way he got in. Then, seeing the administrator dead, they assumed he was a ranker because someone who hasn't climbed to the top yet wouldn't be able to do that. They probably thought he was a ranker no one had ever seen and that he went into hiding, since no one seems to know a way out of the tower. Who knows, he might even be inside to this day.

@@blessedisyou Some people left the floor as Enryu attacked, but my guess is that no one really knows what he looks like or even his name, since he probably didn't say it. So SIU drew him and everything to show the readers and such, but to the people in the tower, Enryu is almost like someone from a fairy tale and was given the title of ranker because of what he did.

So my theory still makes sense to me, thinking that no one knows who he is and assumed he was a ranker because of what he did.

People do enter and exit through doors... So its very possible he just entered like everyone else..

My theory is that Enryu is Bam and there will be a time travel arc in the future when Bam gets much stronger. There isn't much evidence for it except for the insane number of similarities between Enryu and Bam especially since Bam's new attack motif recently changed to rain (Like Enryu's) and they both have the same thorn. I personally want see Bam pull off the ultimate flex of killing an administrator and maybe go back in time and learn more about past events. Would be interesting.
My theory is that there are other Towers that exist on the outside and Enryu was the equivelent to the Outside God's Great Warrior and climbed to the the top of that Tower with him. That explains his expert use of shinsu. Also when you look at the panel when Enryu show's up on the 43rd floor, there's a massive door behind him, so Enryu broke into the Tower, performed the most ridiculous feat in history, and peaced out. The Ranking Bureau had no choice but to give him rank 1(at the time) due to his actions. There's also the rumour that he can create life so maybe someone actually saw him do this, and that means he did other things in the Tower, or it's just made up to add to his legend.
I think this could have definitely could be or could have been true. All depends on how siu is scaling the whole talse uzer verse now that tog is catching up to him health wise.
Either another Tower or that very Tower from before Jahad came. Either way, I think it's safe to say that it wasn't the first time that Enyru climbed the Tower and he most likely has reached the top of SOME tower.
To be honest, I am starting to get worried for tower of god… I’m worried that TOG may end up like the manhwa HCLW(Hardcore Leveling Warrior) in the fact that they may rush the ending of the story leaving all these questions like this one unanswered, because it started to get hard for me personally to keep track of all these unanswered questions, and I feel SIU may also loose track if he is not careful with this ever expanding plot.
To me there is too much left to cover. I think SIU will have to focus on certain aspects if he wants to finish it. Now we have all the other family heads, with lots of other questions. SIU made the tower massive which was good early on but now it would become impossible for him to cover everything in his condition in a reasonable amount of time before he retires (which I think could be in as soon as mabye 3-4 years unfortunately)

I don't think the story ends before hitting 1000 chapters, my guess is around 1200. Honestly, it feels like there's a lot left to cover, but the stakes are getting higher everytime. This next arc will focus on the Jahad princesses and Traumerei most likely, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another family head joining in. SIU can't afford to have a sepparate and long arc for each family head, so they'll have to share or just won't appear at all (I'm going with the first option). Since the war with the Po Bidau family has basically begun already, maybe we'll see 3 or even 4 family heads in a single arc, which would be awesome. That said, I really think this could be a complete story if it reaches 1000 chapters. The only problem with this is what's after defeating Jahad and going beyond the 134th floor could be another long story.

I always understood it as option B. We do see a door opening behind Enryu as he enters the floor, and it doesn't seem like he'd have any reason to climb the Tower afterwards. A possible reason they didn't grant Bam and Urek a rank despite them proving they're ranker level while still regulars is because they were climbing the Tower and would become rankers soon anyway, so might as well just let them finish and do it formally. With Phantaminum and Enryu they knew these guys were easily ranker level but weren't going to climb the Tower so they just slapped the ranker title on them.
What I want to know is if Phantaminum and Enryu's informal ranker status would prevent them from going to areas like the Hidden Floor. Of course with their powers they could almost certainly bypass whatever rule forbids rankers from entering, but I mean ignoring that.

I feel like it’s very obviously worded that Enryu Simply broke into the 43rd flower. He’s literally describes as having “invaded” the tower, killed the administrator, then left. So yes he was given the #2 spot simply off killing was administrator ( which I think is pretty reasonable ). + if he was powerful enough to “invade” the tower it makes sense that he already was strong on the outside hence his ability to invade and kill the administrator.
I think the ranking office would give Bam high-ranker status if he killed a administrator or family head. Think about it that’s not the same as killing just a high ranker, when it comes to administrators (or family heads) you are literally killing a nigh-omnipotent being, and a being thought of as literally un-killable in the tower so I don’t think it’s crazy to have the feat be so insane that Enryu is just given a rank.

I'll admit that I don't know a ton of Tower of God lore, but I do think that Enryu climbed the tower. The wiki says that killing the administrator was his most interesting achievement, implying that he does have other achievements that we haven't been told yet.

I mean someone slaying an administrator is such a really legendary feat and at the same time, the ranking bureau would prolly scale Enryu's level to be above high ranker-No above administrator level, It makes more sense. In Adori's case, when she was an A rank regular, she beat a ranker,so the bureau decided to scale Adori's level comparable to a ranker's level. So in other words, Adori's status is A rank regular but her level were comparable to that of a ranker's level during the time she was A rank regular.
The ranking bureau not only rank people based on achievements but they also rank people depending on *who* they beat. That's why he became ranker.

I have a theory. It seems like the administrators and the tower itself has a plot against the Jahads rule and this plot has probably been in motion for ages. After all we have seen the floor guardians save Bam and his friends by teleporting them away on multiple occasions, such as that one time on test floor where the guardian teleported Hansung Yu. This plot against Jahad was probably made because of the damage the great families caused to the tower and its inhabitants such as Rak's race. When it comes to how Enryu appeared on the death floor suddenly, he most likely got teleported there by an administrator because he has a part in the plot too. We have seen a lot of prophecies hinting at a plot like this within the webtoon, like him leaving the thorn for Bam.
Why would the administrators bring him in just for him to kill one of their own and ruin their 'imortal' untouchable image? I don't think they had much of a choice, most likely it's the 'outside god's' own plan for Bam.
As for administrator's planning it's been somewhat explained the administrator's bring in irregulars to shake up the tower when things go stale, like jahad and the ten families ruling for centuries, but I think enryu and definitely Phantomine are special cases even outside the towers influence.

The way the story is told, and the way the scene is drawn, it seems to imply that he just entered the Tower directly on the floor of death.
But I think that there is a strong possibility that he entered, climbed, and kept a low profile. Especially since he has an official rank because that means the ranking office officially recognized this rank for him even though that means saying he is stronger than the literal king of the Tower.
In addition to this, even though we dont know much about him the head of the ranking office seems like the type of person who doesn't give ranks to someone who hasn't fulfilled the requirements to be a ranker.

How I see it is that Enryu was indeed the "Outside God"'s postman and so he went in the tower, delivered a prophecy, a weapon and a punishment for the 'corrupted' admin of that said floor.

Considering how important being a Ranker is in terms of social status, while it's not to benefit him directly, I think him entering the tower through unknown means, killing a floor Administrator, then peacing out without climbing the tower, and thus being just a 'regular' irregular, wouldn't sit well in the social climate of the tower.
They kind of have to label him as a high ranker with such a feat, to make the other high rankers look 'mightier' by association of rank, if that makes sense. Which isn't a huge stretch considering everyone within like the top 15 are basically gods of the tower already, maybe they could lay the smackdown on a floor admin. A regular/citizen or even most rankers wouldn't be able to even guess how that would go.
If i remember correctly, it was speculated that Enryus reason for attacking the future Floor of death, was because he couldnt forgive the People and Jahad, for building a shrine/temple to worship Jahad in the floor which used to be Arlenes home. So I would say he became a ranker the normal method, before he Attacked the floor of death

My understanding when I read this was that Enryu, enraged by Jahad's desecration of Arlan's alter/home and Jahad's disrespect of the "outside gods", forced open the door to the 43rd floor (directly from the outside) himself and murdered the resident administrator.
This was so unprecedented that the rankers/tower dwellers declared him strongest being at the time, placing him above Jahad on the ranking.
Edit after finishing video: I don't think you have to climb the tower to become a ranker. Remember the ranker test that Bam took early in season 3 and that Maschenny also took to receive a ranking early despite not having finished climbing yet (perhaps I'm misremembering it). I personally think rankings are given to those recognized as strong or influential, and if they achieve enough they are given higher rankings earlier. So, if Bam were to suddenly kill a family head or administrator, I do think they would suddenly consider him a high ranker. Probably not above Jahad, though, since Enryu has shown killing admins is possible already.
After 1 year of story progressing... d) I think Enryuu was Arlene's companion during the time when 10 family heads were regulars climbing the tower (like V and Luslec are), thus technically finishing the climb and becoming a ranker. Then left the tower with Arlene maybe. And re-appeared at that one event. His name, from the time he was climbing the tower, was simply forgotten, only to be remembered when he killed the administrator.

The most likely thing is that he entered the tower and in maybe a year reached the top of the tower he probably then intended to visit the holy site of Arlene and well preformed a cleansing after what he saw was done to the place

We do know that Arlene managed to leave the tower through unknown means, so perhaps that path was how Enryu entered the tower, on the orders of Arlene (or the outside god) with the Thorns in accordance to Arlene's prophecy. And perhaps the location of Arlene's way out of the tower was on the 43rd, which is why Enryu appeared there so suddenly.
That said, I could see Jahad's system giving Enryu ranker status because of his feats. If they didn't give that status to a person who literally killed an entity thought to be unkillable, and massacred an entire floor of rankers before that, then who would qualify as a ranker?

7:56 I dont see why a portal has to be involved and how he would instantly know how to control over 9000 bangs and enough power in each bang to kill an administrator so i dont think b is likely. sure enryu is an irregular but killing an administrator before becoming a ranker seems a bit far fetched but more possible than b. I'd choose (B). Reason being, unless they wiped the history of Enryu climbing the tower after the FoD then it ought to of been recorded. Surely Jahad and some of the 10 family leaders would've also went to great lengths to approach Enryu had he continued climbing after the events of the FoD as well. The later point could potentially of happened, but it will take more time before we get any sort of a glimpse of this answer we seek. Enryu is incredibly vital to understanding critical aspects to the story, and will likely be held close to the chest until the time to expand into that lore is upon us.
IMO once we start expanding into the lore we desperately need answers to via Enryu or whomever SIU chooses - we will be entering the end game of the story as a whole.
As we seen already, bam is now a ranker. You dont need to climb the tower to be a ranker, thats just the traditional way. Bam took the 'ranking test' or something and beat a ranker in a fight which then gave him a ranking, making him a ranker. The feats of Enryu and Phantaminium were so great that they were given rankings as their actions proved themselves without needing to go to a ranking office.
Bam is not a ranked and you do need to reach the top of the tower to be an official ranker. Only op irregulars exist outside that cycle. And bam isn't that level yet

I've got a theory ,not about enryu but jahad. Just like bam he has some kind of monster in him ,so probably like bam he was like created by the outside god and then send out to climb the tower . On his way he met other great warriors like any other shonen anime and they decided to follow him . He was the supposed "protagonist " of the "tower story", but he failed to meet the expectations of the axises. Then as a new story starts Bam ' replaced ' Jahad as the new "protagonist ".
Being like Enryu:
1. Arrive
2. Commit acts of mass genocide
3. Don't explain why
4. Leave

IMO, before Enryu enter the tower, the 1st Ranked is Zahard (Phantaminum came after Enryu). And after that event people keep talking and spreading rumors about Enryu is waayy more powerful then Zahard...
I pretty sure that's a direct warning and insult to Zahard, but that doesn't change that most people agreed that Enryu is MORE POWERFUL, and because that event is to big and can't be covered up completely, they (Zahard and his army) just let it be, so people don't try to find out the truth (about V and Arlene)...
YES, rank changes is just a diversion of issues, they put Enryu the 1st rank and making Zahard go to 2nd place is "hot topic" to covered up the story about Arlene etc.
He could also have been a regular ranker before he contracted himself with the god outside the tower like how Kallavan was normal before he took his clan's power for himself and it angered enryu seeing the Shire of Arlen who also made a contract with that outside god being desecrated and decided to intervene, or was commanded to intervene.
This is why they give characters mysterious backstories 😂
2 things. 1 we know irregulars can simply take the adminstrators test and move up. also if i recall Bam's test from Headon was equivalent to the 20th floor even though he ended up going to the 2nd after i assume Headon has discretion over where to start an irregular. 2. Ghost is in the tower. as far as we know he hasn't passed any floor tests but was able to pop up and face Bam recently. it could be a similar thing

Although I think that it would be pretty reasonable for them to just slap the title of ranker on him for killing the administrator, the theory that I believe is that the way OUT of the tower is through the next floor after zahard's floor (135 i think?), which then leads me to think that he might've just quickly climbed to that floor and got out, making him a ranker in the process has he got to the top.

According to my memory and the rules involving the tower characters of the novel can ask Headon(the caretaker of the tower) when they are on the first floor to take the first test, that they want to take the test to a certain floor they want, isnt it? I remember few instances when characters asked administrators to take a harder test for climbing further than normal
I think there was a period where he had climbed for a bit cuz I can vaguely remember some characters saying that when he went around the shinsu in the air would become red but if that was the case that specific event would've had to happen on more than one floor at least in order for enough word to spread at least. maybe he pulled a pentaminum and climbed up all the way to talk to Jahad or something but Idk.

Because other then that and the possibilities Joe listed it's pretty much unknown, it would make sense if he was a regular climbing the tower at that time that's why not many knew about him but that's impossible because he's deemed the title of ranker so he's at least kinda known before the floor of death but until we know the full picture I'll always think of it as he just appeared and caused chaos then left and is currently in hiding or outside the tower

So people just assumed he could enter any floor like this, and thus allowed him to be a ranker. I don’t know if there’s a lot of support for this, but that’s how I see it

In Season2 Eo.241 Webtoons, when Enryu appears there seemed to be a door of some sort opened in the sky behind his shadowy figure probably something similar to spacial distortion that Urek used. I'm not sure why he's considered a ranker, but im leaning towards him recieving that title due to killing the adminstrator an impossible feat that undoubtly deserves one of the highest ranks in the tower.

bit late but yea I think he was directly sent to the floor of death, & I think this was kinda hinted at cause when he showed up in the panel we seen behind Enryu in the distance there is a door/gate almost exactly like the doors to entering the tower. they most likely added him as a ranker due to them not knowing who it was besides the accounts of very small amount of ppl that seen him & survived & they just decided only a High Ranker would even be capable of doing it.

My own personal theory, but follow me for a bit.
Putting everything you have said in perspective, enryuu can teleport anywhere he wants in the tower. Baams second thorn can allow him to teleport as happened on the floor of death.
So I think enryuu has never climbed the tower but is related to Baam in a way given that he appears when Arlene's idol is desecrated.
Enryuu is an irregular so tower rules not applying to him would make sense of his sudden appearance and going as far as even fighting an administrator because anyone who has climbed the tower would automatically know not to mess with an administrator.
The whole fact he even didn't fear to challenge one kinda makes me think he has never climbed the tower in the first place.
I think it makes so much more sense they just gave him the title because of this feat if you take a moment to think Phantaminum , he didnt climbed to jahad to take ranker s test or to get any title he just showed up and kill every ranker in jahad castle and spared 2nd best gurl yuri after that he just got to floor 138
We see the tower's door when Enryu appears (S2E241) which implies to me that he entered the floor of death directly from outside
I always thought it was choice B, he teleported into the floor and slayed the admin, and was given the title of honorary ranker

thus enryu could be sm sorta senpai to the 10 heads from an upper floor who casually left the tower without completing it
Maybe he started at the top of the tower and descended to the 43rd floor. Or maybe he entered at the 43rd floor, like perhaps there is an exit/entrance to the tower there.

He showed up to deliver the thorn to baam. I think penta showed up to tell jahad that his reign is over. On reddit theres a good explanation of this
Enryu entered the Tower on the 43rd Floor; we see this in the panel as the doors of the Tower directly open on the 43rd floor. Any titles were given after his feat, such as ranker because the influence of the event was so grand it literally altered the history of the Tower forever. For example, a whole floor was killed, and the administrator was killed, secrets of Irregulars entered the Tower, and a whole floor was blocked off. I would love to see how Zahard could explain a Regular did all of that. FInally, we must consider that there is likely no direct evidence left from the fight other than the after mass. I doubt any pockets caught the true events of the fight. The same would apply to Phantanimun.
Enryu could of possibly left for the 134 floor and is hiding waiting to go up more so he can leave. Or enryu I first appeared on the 134 floor and used the teleporting shinsu trick that urek knows to go down to the 43rd.
It's one of those logic loops that there are technically 100s of answers for every problem with it. Like the outside god being an axis and writing knowledge into enryu's head or him being a self insert. Or him being someone able to watch the goings on of the tower from the outside. Could also be a plot twist that 9999 bangs weren't shinsu at all and that's just what people thought because what else it could it be. The easiest question to answer here though is him becoming a ranked, similar to the slayers passing and becoming a ranker. I doubt all of them were subtle and they were allowed to take the test. He's also a irregular he could also just take the administrator test, we have no idea the opinions of administrators and the 43rd floor admin seemed fairly loyal to the goings on the empire or at least didn't like it's authority challenged. Administrators have varied opinions like the one the second floor and him helping evankhell so it could just be Enryu left and took those tests from the administrators and they testified for his success to which would make him a ranked based on how the 10 great family heads are considered rankers. I for one believe Enryu is still lurking in the tower unable to leave until they continue up pass the 134 floor or perhaps he himself is partially conscious in each thorn fragment and in a similar form to white hiding on hell train, went into hiding on a upper floor.
arlen made a deal with the outside god for whatever bam is in exchange for something and enryu was sent to that floor to carry out x mission from the outside god that was in direct response to everything that happen with arlen bam and rachel. enryu also just straight teleported to the 43rd anyway.
