In my humble opinion Eloy is the best drummer in the actual metal scene, so much power, precision and technique. He can play anything from samba, jazz to extreme metal. He makes distinction in any fucking band he plays He's a monster.
He's one of the most athletic and heavy hitting drummers around. I grew up w/ sepulture and will always love and respect the unique style Igor brought to the table, but Eloy picked up where Igor left off and is one of the most fierce and solid drummers to ever walk the earth. I'm glad he's in Sepultura!
I've had a 17" Paiste Rude Crash/Ride in that past and that thing was LOUD! Don't have it anymore, but i'm really intrigued by the Rude models Eloy uses. So much power and clarity and no clang. Excellent!
He's like really pushing himself beyond his limits. Look how strong he hits and sounds sweet at the same time ... I think a normal guy would just pass out trying to hit this hard before the second song begins

Aí o escroto do Iggor, ao ser questionado sobre o que acha do Eloy disse que não comenta sobre gente morta. É muita inveja. O cara não seguiu a diante. Triste ver um ícone cair no ostracismo graças ao ego.

Cara, vou falar uma coisa, quem manja de bateria sabe que Eloy tá facilmente entre os top 5 ou até mesmo top 3 bateras de metal atualmente. O nível de dificuldade com que ele toca é muito alta, cara consegue tocar em "alta potência" com notas perfeitas, tem que ser muito monstro pra fazer isso, posso dizer sem sobra de dúvidas, como baterista, que a maioria dos bateristas, tipo uns 90% ou mais, não conseguem sequer acompanhar o ritimo dele sem errar notas. Pessoal tentando comparar ele com o Iggor, caras, Iggor foi um grande batera pro SEPULTURA apenas, Eloy é um monstro reconhecido no mundo todo, não por ser um grande batera de uma banda, mas por ser único, não importa onde esteja, na real, Sepultura tem é sorte de ter ele. Eloy encaixaria facilmente em qualquer uma das melhores bandas de metal atualmente.

This guy is severely underrated IMO. Dude plays with power and genuinely looks like he is enjoying himself. Definitely has the groove.
