Quickie 500 racer Flight Video

This is my Quickie 500 racer. I built it in 1986, and it was lost for several years. I found it some time ago, and I restored it. It used to sport a SuperTigre S40 ABC, that blew up (that was the reason for me to put it away at that time). Now it is powered by a Thunder Tiger 40. It isn´t a very powerful engine, since it has bushings, not ball bearings (TT has a more powerful PRO version with BB's), but it is for fun flying, not racing.

¡Gracias! Ese modelo es un “Guille” de Aerobalsa, modificado. Esta con un .049 con mando de acelerador y es un espectáculo. ¡Le haremos un video pronto!

Doesn’t sound like it’s on the pipe. Header/muffler needs to be trimmed/cut 1/4 at a time to get optimal performance.
