@@gertnood yeah I guess it’s not too rich. I had the same motor and pipe combo. I would tach it on the ground full throttle at about 16k and it will lean out in the air at about 17.5 -18k depends on the prop your running. An 8x8 works great. Or an 8x8.8 pylon prop is best.

I had one with MVVS Quickie + tune pipe. It was super quick and scary. The V tail broke in midair and it got buried 2 inches into the ground.

The motor is running super rich.needs to be leaned out.
It has a tuned exhaust and has to be set 600-800 rpm rich on the ground. Sounds okay in the air doesn't it?

What prop and size are you using?
