Daniel is great at doing the recap. I haven't been rewatching, but hearing Daniel describe the episodes puts me right back to the early 2000's and I remember what he's talking about perfectly.
All the recaps should be like this. Best recap. Felt like i was watching the episode. I like when they stray off to other convos but bring it back n forth you kno 😂

I MUCH prefer these breakdowns. The sex stuff gets old after a few times and we can hear that anywhere.
Yeah I think I’d prefer if there was this general structure to the pod and if it’s necessary they can dedicate a good chunk of the episode to the behind the scenes or their lives or whatever they want to talk about.

tbh though i think balance is key, if its too "disney safe" i get the ick as if they're hiding something and stop watching.

I had no idea this podcast existed until 5 minutes ago. Ned's declassified was such a dope show and seeing you all together now gives me such joy. It always showed how genuinely cool you guys were. This made my night.

Man the bus to school and the bus home was just my relax zone. Kids there were devices called MP3 players that only played music and it was a bad day if it was dead before the bus ride.

Love the idea of a Neds declassified movie, where he's out of high school and tries to create rules for the real world only to realise its too complicated and learns to just enjoy life as it comes.
I almost feel like it should be like Ned grew up being toxic and thinking he knew everything and became obsessed like the notebook was an actual gospel as he keeps writing it in to college to cope with the rules of the social society, only to rediscover the truth through friends he once knew at Polk Middle School. Realizing that the best tips are always those that come from your closest friends.
Trying to make new friends but old tips fail him "But the guide is always right!!!"
Or better yet realizes it's too complicated and becomes an alcoholic 😂

I love their conversations whether they're recaps or not. It feels like a conversation with friends. Everyone here getting mad at the sex talk, don't act like you don't have those conversations with your friends. Everyone does, especially veterans

Never change guys lol I love how this podcast is like when I talk with my best friends
Even though the pods are recorded weeks in advance (and depending on how many people were complaining about the format of late prior to them stepping in it regarding Drake and his SA case) and the non-Ned's stuff has helped the pod last longer than it otherwise would have, hopefully they have longer recaps for seasons 2 and 3 and have far less sex/drug talk.
I used to do the EAR THING Daniel was talking about in the bus! It makes the inside of my ear tickle LOL

I very much enjoy the loose, raunchy nature the podcast usually has lol, but this episode was definitely a nice change of pace. I like the recap episodes getting the fun off-topic chit-chat in at the top and tail, but the main bulk being more focused on thouroughly going over the actual recap.

I get the ear vibrations 😂 my mom had a heated massager for her veins on her legs. I would hold the “vibrator” on my nose tight until my nose feels soooooo shaky until I sneeze😂 then I would sneeze like 8 times in a row after. It honestly felt so refreshing

I definitely like having a little more structure and on-topic conversations.
I feel like all the sex talk, q&a, guests, etc. act as a nice break and tangents are welcome, but having a through line and getting to hear more about the thing we know them from (arguably why we're here) is where it should be based/grounded.
