Most of us has been hurt and done the hurting but after it all I've grown. Last time I cheated 23 last time I got cheated on 26 and I'm 31 in a happy 5 year relationship now.
Yes my ex girlfriend asked someone out in the same room as me I was shocked and a little bit mad I ended it right there and then btw it was my birthday yesterday I am 26
Lindsey is the literal textbook example of fucking growth! So proud of her for all her accomplishments and successes! I grew up watching Ned’s and I’m so glad I recently found this pod, highly love y’all! Keep being real and wonderful
I love how raw you guys can be with each other, uncomfortable convos are not!! 😂😂😂 y‘all’s dynamic is so genuine and I love each of u with all of my heart! Your high level of emotional maturity and receptiveness to growth is extremely admirable and feels good to immerse oneself into any of your conversations, healing to the inner child and calming the crippling mind of the adult. Lindsey your honesty, humility and grace with all that you’ve been through never fails to make me inspired
Had a great uncle that was a truck driver. That man had an entire second family that nobody knew about for decades. The stuff you could get away with pre-internet was wild, man.
"Literally your whole existence is just to have more existence." "Yea it's beautiful" "Dang! How can I preserve my existence?" SPITTING STRAIGHT PHILOSOPHY THIS WEDNESDAY.
Devon is grabbing his phone so tight when Lindsay starts talking I genuinely wonder if he has something of a "hold Lindsay down" notification set up from PodCo
The way everyone got so excited that Lindsey watched the episode made me laugh… I love the chemistry y’all have, it’s something special. Lindsey was hilarious at the end with her “tip”
Ok this may sound wild, but something I love about this podcast is that you could tell that towards the end Devon and Lindsey were starting to get tense, but it’s so refreshing to see them go through uncomfortable conversations and process their past and what is also so amazing is that they’re not afraid to share their unlikable moments which keeps me watching
Also she looked like she was on drugs for a min bruh “oh yeah in ur fifteen year old little pubescent brain you knew you knew” WHAT TF WAS SHE DOING??? 41:50
Cheating comes in many forms, even through the internet and looking at things you shouldn't when you're supposed to be committed to someone. The amount of damage you can do to someone is catastrophic. You never want to hurt anyone like that. Just stay to your word and be honest.
Everytime they bring up their relationship I feel so bad for Daniel because it’s not like he can relate because he didn’t date either of them so he is just excluded.
This was a very healthy conversation. I’m currently healing from a situation-ship and this helped me put things into perspective. I’m taking accountability for it and making sure I heal myself from making someone else step out on their relationship. I’m still in love with this person, but this is a learning lesson for me. My character needs a bit more work
I love the dynamic of Lindsay just saying something random and wild on a podcast, and Devon going through the emotions of shock that she saying this to the world, laughing and then accepting/respecting who Lindsay is all in a second 😂
I've only been in 2 actual long term committed relationships and I was on cheated on in the first one. Long story short, we were together for over 2 years and I had no idea until he told me through Instagram years later that he had been seeing other people throughout our entire relationship. It hurt at the time because it was my first romantic relationship ever, and he had also used me to move out of his parent's place to live off of me.
last girlfriend cheated and honestly I've never been the same. I have been scared to chase another relationship even though it happened a few years ago. Shit hurts man, please don't do it.
I found out this podcast last week and already watched all the episodes. Cant believe it took me 1 year to hear about it. Neds was really big here in brazil(everyone between 25 and 32 i know loved the show) and was definitly my favorite TV show as a teenager. Would love to see the brazilian actor who played faymen at the show. Fun fact: i only found out this pod because of a guy hating the show that appeared in my twitter feed.
Long story short..... Yes, i had a military boyfriend that would gaslight me everytime i questioned why he had custody of his "sister". We broke up because he was getting "deployed" but in reality, he was returning back home to his wife and kid....
@@CannaMartJElmao is it you? Mad salty and for what? Clearly the pod asked if anyone has ever cheated on us. That’s who asked btw. And people do care. Maybe not you but that’s okay. Being rude isn’t.
As a teacher, I can tell you we've had multiple trainings now about AI and how to incorporate it into the classroom. We are trying to learn how to use it as a tool. We're also being taught to recognize writing written by AI so we can catch plagiarism. And media literacy is already being taught in some schools. Our senior English teacher does a whole unit on media literacy and has been doing it for years. So we're not quite where we need to be, and there's lots of problems in the school system, but we're trying to be better and I feel like we're slowly getting there.
As a teacher, that chat GPT conversation was so frustrating because they don’t know what they’re talking about. But y’all made up for it when Lindsey tried to gaslight Devon about something that happened 15 years ago. 😅😅
Excelent video from Spain 🇪🇸 and great work guys Devon, Lindsey and Daniel and interview Jesse Heimman, Dave Florek, "Mr Shopsaw" and Don Creech "Mr Sweaney"
I feel like Devon often has quite safe takes on things. I'd like to hear more from your mind, Devon. I like the podcast though! Love it more when you guys are just talking about life.
Tbh I get it too. It's very vulnerable and the internet is very definitive. And I think Lindsay, for example, sometimes might even regret the vulnerable things she's saying because I feel like she has a tendency to overshare, which can bite you in the booty later. But I feel like there is a balance to be achieved. I would love to hear more original ideas from Devon or hear more of his music. I loved his song and I felt like that was a moment I saw more of who he really was. I don't mean to be rude btw. I love all 3 hosts and I feel like I see mostly their beautiful side. A few things I feel like I have noticed ( I might be wrong) : Devon: Makes sure work is done & is a bigger picture person, harmony focused, sometimes a little bit too much harmony focused? Daniel: Logical & no drama, lacks a bit of sensetivity but has good intensions for sure Lindsay: Playful, Sensetive & experiences extreme feelings, has a bit of a saturated view of things because of these strong feelings & might have a hard time sometimes because of how much she feels? But really has a strong childlike desire for things to be good. Nobody asked for this. Hope it's relatable, feel free to ignore.
@@RuthParodies100% agree with this breakdown, that’s why the pod is so easy to get into. They have a good balance together. I can see why Devon would not be as vulnerable as Lindsey. Good breakdown.
I think the thing that makes cheating the most evil is when they don’t own up to it after and waste years (or however long) of somebody’s life. It’s already an insidious act but I think there is a vast difference between cheating and then being honest about it and ending the relationship, versus cheating and then continuing to let this person they are supposed to primarily care for waste their precious years on Earth with somebody who is unknowingly betraying and humiliating them the entire time. The latter is distinctly something I don’t know if I would ever be able to get over, but the former is something I would not suffer from hardly as much
It could be great if you could make episodes with people that listen/watch the podcast 🤭 I'm a teacher, and when you talk about school stuffs, or when I watch Ned's episodes, there are sooo many things that I would love to talk about! It's so funny to rewatch the show. Every episode is so accurate with real school's life, and I find so interesting that the same experiences happens everywhere, no matter the place (I'm from South America 😁) You guys are really great ❤️

On Christy Carlson Romano’s podcast he said they have love for each other as well as attraction but that they will not get back together. He says the friendship is to important and doesn’t want to loose that
I was the kid that could never get the exams done within the time limit given so quite often I felt obligated to cheat at least on the second half of questions so I wouldn't get grounded for being a slow failure, too bad I didn't have zocdoc back then to get the potential adhd diagnosed and get extra time on my tests lol
I saw a lady get failed on a college assignment because she used Quillbot for you who don’t know what quillbot is it goes through and can restructure your sentence and punctuation. They failed her claiming she used AI for her papers.

Ignorance is bliss baby.
yeah, it sucks, then you do it because you are an immature piece of shit and then you feel even worse.
Cheating NOT. EVEN. ONCE.
I love how in every episode Devon and Lindsey always go on wild rants about something and Daniel is the one who keeps the conversation grounded.
I appreciate Lindsey telling us all the things most people wouldn't admit to doing
That's BPD in a nutshell & I adore her
Exactly I love how she keeps it 💯
