This is the first season that I will have Hellebores. They aren’t an easy plant to find around here in Ottawa 🇨🇦. I planted them in Fall. They don’t bloom until April or so here. I do hope they come back. I love all the varieties that you have. Your garden is so beautiful all year round.
My crocus lawn was just the same! Beautiful for a short time and then annihilated by the heavy rain ☔️ Happy Christmas and looking forward to following the journey in 2025 🪴
You have created a delightful garden, Beatrice Potter & Peter Rabbit would be too pleased to see . ,🦔🍂🐇🍁 Look forward to more videos in the New Year please Have a merry Christmas and God Bless
So good to see a video from you pop up, thank you! Yours is my favorite garden on TH-cam. 🙂 Whenever I start to feel pressured and like I can't "keep up with the Jones's" in the garden, I remind myself that I'm a HOBBY gardener and, since I don't rush and stress over my other hobbies, there's no reason to rush and stress over my gardening hobby!
Thank you so much 😊 I think that’s very wise! Often those people have gardeners doing the gardening too, so we really are better off not comparing our progress!
It was so wonderful to see your garden, & also the lovely ducks. How you explained everything is so good,& Happy Christmas & a great New Year to you both...❤🎄👋😀🌟✨️💐
Hi I loved watching your recap of the year I live in the far north of England near the Lake District and the rain was so bad that buds were rotting before they could open, the ducks are so cute and like you I can’t wait to do it all again ❤
What a nice video. I am excited to see your garden in spring again, it's just so magical.💕Still very sorry about you losing your sweet little duck. I know how hard it is to lose an animal. :( They are family. At least she is not in pain anymore. 💕I can't wait to read your book, I'm gonna preorder it soon. And I just wanted to say thank you for your lovely videos over the years, you help me a lot with my own garden, but also and especially mentally. (depression, anxiety, bpd, asd) Your videos distract me, help me to escape from darkness for a while and heal my soul in a way. Thanks to you and your husband and I wish you both a lovely evening and the most beautiful holidays, winter and new year. 💕💕
Thank you! Pleasure to watch as always. I find sometimes the excitement of the garden can be pushed out by the dread of jobs. The garden is not a job it’s an escape and sometimes I have to reset myself and give myself the ‘job’ to rest and enjoy the garden for what it is 🥰 x
Happy New year Ramona. Lovely video and congratulations on your book! 👏👏👏I shall look forward to getting a copy. 😁I too have had to lower my expectations in the garden. A shoulder injury followed by a frozen shoulder stopped me in my tracks. It was a miserable experience but it taught me so much. I love being in the garden with all the seasonal changes. I appreciate it even more with a relaxed approach. 😁🌸🌷🌺🦋🐞
Sooo glad I'm not the only one not to have planted spring bulbs, in some ways it's better given the thoroughly wet weather we've had, tulips especially don't like being soggy in pots. Like you I'm itching for a warmish winter day to get out there, tidy and plant. Look forward to the next episode.
Amazing video! Super jealous of your hostas. They're not allowed in my garden, unfortunately. Them and dahlias are decimated into nothing within a couple of days and whatever toads are lurking around can't get them all. I get best results growing them in pots off the ground but even then they get to them. Keep finding slug eggs in pots as well, tucked tightly on the outer side of the rootball
My 3 runner ducks have started laying about 4 weeks ago .. they are 6 months old .. we are getting 2-3 eggs each day .. I was very surprised as I thought it would be spring before they started laying !🦆🦆🦆
I've got my fingers crossed that my Spring bulbs that i planted (because you inspired me) grow. Love your Hellebores... i only have three atm... but i would love to have more. I look forward to your videos, I find them interesting and beautiful. Have a fabulous Christmas xx
I absolutely adore your garden and have been following for years. I am thrilled you are starting 2025 with a new book. I love the spring bulb lawns and how they've matured. Thank you for what you do
Your garden is so lovely and inspiring. You have given me a couple ideas to work on. We have a harsher climate, colder in winter and hotter in summer, but I do think I can add more helebores and late season flowers.
Yes,, i so enjoyed watching this video,, we moved into a farm land and we have no garden yet,, watching this I got ideas how to do some flower gardens Thank you,, so beautiful lol
Did you make a video once about your dresses? I swear I remember watching it but I can’t find it now (maybe it wasn’t you and im just crazy lol) anyway it introduced me to Isabel Marant dresses and I bought one & now they’re trendy so im glad I got in early lol
Dear Ramona, I just discovered your channel and am amazed by your beautiful content! May I ask about what kind of grass grows on your lawn? Does it grow tall and you keep it low? If so, how do you cut it? Or is it some variety that does not grow tall natural? I love the panting of bulbs directly into the lawn and am looking forward to learning a lot from you. Congratulations on you book! I wish you a good start into the next year. Blessings, Eve
Thanks for the videos, I find them quite calming as a C-PTSD sufferer. What did you have to do to stop the rodent problem with your ducks, and your seeds? Merry Christmas from Surrey! 🎄🎅🤶
Thank you so much for writing this, I’m so glad they help you feel calm. In the end we had to do a few things - we got a grandpa feeder (expensive but very good and the only one that actually seems to be rodent proof), and we got a smart trap to keep the numbers down, but to be honest I haven’t really got the hang of trapping them with the posh thing yet and find snap traps in the right places much easier. Merry Christmas to you too! 😊
i have work for many years with children that had autism... i think you are great example for all!!!
Thank you, that’s really lovely ☺️ I work with young autistic people too and adore it
i hope to have a graden like yours someday . love your channel

How long do the willow fences last for?
Danke, sehr schon. Kanal abonniert
I bought 100 snake heads after watching an old vid of yours.
I just thought I'd let you know I'm subscribed and the bell is on but I don't get your videos anymore coming in unsure if others have had this issue.❤
Thank you so much for letting me know! I wonder if there is a bug…
I’m really excited about your new book, does it ship to the US?
Lugar lindo ❤colocar tradutor português 😊

Did you put in that pond for your ducks, or was it naturally there? We have 5 runner ducks and I’d love to make a little pond for them
Meine Enten haben auch sehr viele Federn verloren während der Mauser, und haben komplett mit dem Eierlegen aufgehört.
You need to seriously do something about the rats and mice
