Thank you so much! We have been working hard to get the gardens going and it’s nice to hear such kind words after all the hard work!!
What a wonderful video. I like long videos too. Yours are so peaceful and tranquil and I learn so much and see so many different varieties of plants and flowers. Your my favorite now. Keep up the good work.❤
SUch kind words of support - thank you so much! I am still learning so much on the "taping" side of all of this but I hope to get better and better as I go.
Totally agree!!
Beautiful garden! I like how you share your rationale for selecting the plants.
Chip, I have so enjoyed your amazing videos! I am learning so much from your videos. I do love the way you mention all of the plant, bushes, and tree names. I do greatly admire the English garden style of planting. I have never seen such beauty as you are creating each and every season. I was surprised seeing that you replaced your tulip bulbs with the Proven Winner's Salvia. I went on their site and joined up as a member. I was amazed at all of the plants they showcase! I plan to order from them soon. They also could give me local garden centers near me that carry their beautiful handy work. Thank you again for giving me many great ideas of new things that I could plant here in Georgia! Look forward to seeing your next video! Hugs 🎉
Thank you so much for your kind words! Good luck getting those salvia - they have been a big hit in this video and I will share how they are growing in an update soon! I hope you stay tuned to more videos in the future as I share my love of gardening!!
Loved this. So good of you to explain what each of the plants are and where they thrive the best (sun or shade) and of course, I love seeing Bitsy just meandering around the garden.
Thank you so much! And I will tell Bitsy that she has a new fan too!!
Never knew how much I needed to have Proven Winters Salvia in my garden until today. Hoping I am able to find them in one of our independent garden centers over the weekend. I have learned so much from you already and look forward to your next video. Great Job!
Thank you for your kind words! And good luck with the PW Salvia - you will want them every year after you plant them just once! Happy Gardening!

Your home and landscape is absolutely stunning. What is the trim color on your house?
Thank you for sharing your lovely farm with us! I am amazed how beautiful the courtyard is becoming. I love the addition of the bench and urns, as well as the new plants you are adding. The butterfly garden is amazing with the colors you are incorporating into it, especially the orange tones. I learned so many tips for me to use in my own garden. Mary's Peony resembles 'Bowl of Beauty'.
Thank you for letting me know - I just love that one and having it given as a gift makes it even more special!
@@chipjones.thepreppygardener not certain--just a resemblance!
What a beautiful garden! Love how so many of your ideas inspire me to rethink some areas of my gardens. Please continue to make lovely garden videos!! Would also love to see how you decorated the interior of your home. Just beautiful!
Thank you so much! The garden is always changing as are my ideas so I hope you stick around as I bring many more videos in the future. A house tour will happen someday but for now it is all about the gardens.
Omg! I love your videos. They have really inspired me to add some new plants to my own garden. I really love those Proven Winners Salvias but I going to try to find them in my area. They are beautiful. I can’t wait to see how your garden grows and changes over the summer.
Thank you so much! The Proven Winners salvia is always a showstopper in our garden and we sell tons at the nursery! Good luck finding some of your own - and if you do you won't be disappointed!
Great video Chip! Gorgeous gardens!!💜
Thank you so much!
Love your garden ! I will have to get some of the proven salvias in the next few days.
The Proven Winners Salvia are terrific! Hope you are able to locate them! Thank you for watching.
First time viewer. When you were entering your gate, the little dog just made me smile!!! Adorable! Bitzy! I am sure I spelled that wrong. Love the formal garden area. The mature trees, the bench and large planters.... just lovely . I can only imagine what it will look like when things start growing. Love the dark wood fence with the ball finials. The courtyard is the perfect name. I do like a little dappled sunlight coming through the trees... but I love a shaded woodland type garden above all. Well ,now I am so curious to see your beautiful garden evolve. Both the front and the back are gorgeous What an amazing property. How long have you been here?
We have been here 7 years now and have spent most of that time remodeling the house. I’m so excited to finally be focusing on the gardens and being outside! I hope you stick around as I share more of the projects we have completed and a few new garden surprises coming soon!
My aunt in Houston has a Peggy Martin rose! I had never heard of it and didn’t know the story. I will be looking for one! I love New Orleans and many people came to my town to the Red Cross shelters. I will never forget that. Definitely need this rose in my garden! Love your garden and what a beautiful property. Fresh and unique I would say. Keep the videos coming!
Love your ideas for your courtyard. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Thank you so much! The courtyard is a special garden area and I look forward to sharing more of it soon!
SO GLAD I found your channel! I'm from GA (Roswell area) and now live in south central Kentucky.
Oh Yay - Roswell!! I grew up in Ringgold and have been migrating westward now for 25 years! I miss Georgia and my family but I am learning to garden in a new area and it can be challenging - as I am sure you know. But Kentucky is a beautiful state and I am sure there are many wonderful gardens there as well! Thank you for watching!
@@chipjones.thepreppygardener I know where Ringgold is! I drive through when I head back to GA from KY. Your gardens are beautiful. I recently moved to 38 acres (mostly wooded) and trying to develop gardens around our structures first. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi from Hamburg, Germany, dear Preppy Gardener! Please keep on posting videos ❤🙏 Your channel has wonderful content! Keep it going and I send all my love to Oklahoma.
Germany - Wow - Thank you for watching! I will be working on many more videos so stay in touch and let me know how I do!

Thank you so much for your kind words!
Absolutely beautiful!! I am really enjoying your channel. ❤
Thank you so much! I hope you stick around as I work on my videos skills!!
Oh my goodness, your garden is AMAZING! BTW, I believe your clematis may be a ‘bees jubilee.’ Had one at our house we sold years ago and am still looking for another. She was always blooming! Please keep posting!! 😍
Thank you for the info! I LOVE that clematis and many others (as you can tell). Keep watching as I try to keep improving on the gardens!
Loved, loved loved this video, thank you❤
Thank you so much for your kind words and stay tuned for more in the future!
Your home reminds of the home we lived in 30 years so I love it! Would love for you to link some of your products such as your beautiful trough you showed!
Everything is really filling in & looking beautiful. (Love that English birdhouse!) Hugs from GA❤
Thank you so much! Springtime is so crazy busy, but I am try to keep up with the gardens at home. I hope you see even more plants filling in soon as the rain in Oklahoma has been gracious this year and the flowers have been so happy!!
New subscriber as of today. We have several of the candy corn spirea and the drift peach roses amoung a few other drift roses. Your garden areas are amazing. The pink mandavilla vines are beautiful. I am getting that same hybrid tea rose. They are beautiful. I am getting the blue salvia and different clematis. I love the longer videos. I noticed you had some grasses in your garden. Could you let me know the name of it if you wouldn't mind. I am so glad I found your channel.
I absolutely love seeing this detailed and extensive and glorious landscape… But do you guys struggle with deer at all? That’s the huge enemy of our landscaping!
Thank you so much! We do struggle with deer occassionally. I use a spray calledd "Deer Out" and it works quite well. You know, if the deer are hungry they will eat almost anything but I do try to keep certain plants closer to the house to help keep a better eye on them. Happy Gardening!
What is the square black planters with obelisk and where can I get them?
Those planters are no longer available - they are metal and I have had some issues with weathering. But I will keep my eye open for more and will post if I source new ones. The Obelisk - I will have to research to be sure I give you the correct info and again I will try to post any info on them on the video sources and Instagram. Thank you for watching
I'm really enjoying your channel. Where did you purchase your birdhouse? It's gorgeous!
Thank you for watching! The birdhouse I bought from Detroit Garden Works - they have amazing garden accents so definitely check them out.
Yeah I don't grow that trumpet Vine around here it takes off too much I have the whole park but it's still really aggressive be careful with that phone keeps shutting off on me so sorry about that okay talk to you later bye
Leucanthemum will get huge--unless they're a dwarf variety.
Can you list plants you speak about so we can purchase
I will try to work on that as I do more videos. Thank you for watching!
Where are you square metal pots from?
The square containers are from a company no longer in business… if I find some similar I’ll be sure to post
Yeah I I have 30 yards at memorial Park in New Kensington PA zone 6B and I've been doing the flowers all for about 20 years now and I have that dianthus I thought it was so pretty I put that in show me unusual plants but I love the Ethiopians to they're so beautiful sorry my phone keeps going off so that's why it's interrupted in between words but yeah I like your show so I like watching it I like watching other people shows too so it makes it nice I learn a lot from everybody so we'll talk talk to you later okay bye
Are you near Linda Vater?
