Charlie Daniels version will always be the legend but Nickback did a PHENOMENAL job on this. I love that they catered it to their own style and I particularly love the menacing tone that they added to the Devils solo. It really added to the story and it was almost as if they were painting a picture with the sound of their instruments which, is truly a unique spin. Great job to them. I always love both Charlie Daniels and Nickelback. Such a shame that they were criticized so much because I always thought their music was really good. Not to mention that the lead singer has so much flexibility in terms of his vibrato and the different textures he could produce with his vocals. Totally underrated.

I always react to songs and move my soul this is one of them no matter who performs it Charlie and his band moved my soul in One direction but Nickelback does move it in a completely other direction it's interesting and amazing but both are beautiful hate what you want to hate for whatever reason you hate it even though you couldn't articulate it don't matter it's how you feel got you. But respect talent assholes talent is talent and Nickelback does have talent and I love the song thank you very much
