After watching all the 4 parts of this interview , the first word that comes to my mind is a word that Indumathi Ma'am herself has used a few times - ' spellbound ' . Wish we had a few more episodes. Wish this conversation would never end.
An ardent follower of Ma'am's writings right from my school days when I was in my early teens and having followed her career graph over the years, though I had known a lot about her journey , hearing it from her in her own words has been amazing.
Spoken straight from the heart , with so much transparency and clarity of thought, acknowledging her strengths and challenges and yet so much humility and so much grace and dignity exuded. The way you have evolved is amazing. Ma'am , you stand tall in our minds - readers like me who have worshipped your writings and admired you as a genuinely compassionate human being. I read recently somewhere that courage is not about not having fear , rather it's all about overcoming fear . I think you have embraced life as it unfolded and have overcome your challenges in the most dignified way. It is heartwarming to see that you have no bitterness against anyone and are so grateful towards your family and friends and count all your blessings. For all the happiness you have given to us readers over the years, you shall always be in our hearts and prayers Ma'am. Wishing you many more happy, creative , fulfilling years and may many happy experiences unfold for you, making each of your days brighter and happier.
