I knew GOD but did everything to push him away. I mean everything. Through it all God had my back. I should die in jail and I have used up my 9 lives and more. By the Grace of God I have no police record and I am health and happy. I have had such a amazing life change. I asked God to take my life every night for almost 35 yrs. Man I use to listen to this song in my addiction and now I'm sober from a 7 year run and it's so empowering listening to this cuz I prayed there would come a point where I could be sober Thank GOD for opening my eyes and giving me the strength I so desperately needed from him. One Love ❤ 11 months clean from heroin. Don't ever give lose hope and if I can over come then anybody can over come this battle with drug addiction.

Jesus doesn’t cause you to struggle with sin… He sets you free from it. If you’re still struggling with any part of it, you’re still a slave to it. Jesus set me free 12 years ago from all the evil I was doing and today I’m clean not only from drugs and cigarettes but from all evil behaviour.
So if you want to be free, you can be- Just confess your rebellion and call upon Jesus for salvation:

Oh wow brother. I just found this and I just listened to it 4 times Praise God. I completely relate to every word besides the addiction to opiates although is was alcohol and almost every other drug and I never robbed a dope boy but I was with those who would. Other than those minor differences I hits dead in the center of my heart. I put hands on my woman, being drunk and paranoid but PRAISE GOD when I got outta prison she gave me another chance. We're just recently within the last 4 weeks getting our relationship with God by His Son Jesus Christ. I'm standing up brother and going back ain't an option. Wow! Thank you for your testimony such a powerful message. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia, agoraphobia, manic depressive, and severe panic attacks. I heard voices and even saw an evil spirit. When I gave my life to Christ I felt an evil spirit lift off of me. I have been praying and fasting a lot. On two different fast at the end of them I felt other spirits that were clinging to me leave. Keep on spreading the message again so powerful. We are in a war but we can overcome with the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

I'm a huge rap fan gangster rap and I couldn't find any decent Christian rap that I could listen to because there just wasn't anybody who could rap. When I heard this song every hair on my body stood out with goose bumps. It's totally changed my attitude thinking Christian rap is cheesy. I've been hooked on nicky gracious music since I heard him on Facebook before he got signed to rip records. Dude can spit some fire and ive been able to move from gangster rap to Christian rap. Nicky gracious is my favorite rapper I've ever heard.
I just want you to know, hearing this song made it easier for me to forgive my father. It granted me with the opportunity to see things from his perspective. By the end of this song I realized ANYONE can be saved and that I need to understand who the real enemy is. Unfortunately, due to my dads behavior I can’t be around him, but I do still love him and I pray for him everyday. I hope one day he will come to Jesus just like you did. At age 17 I was a pothead, drinker, selfish, jerk, disrespectful , without hope, suicidal....I went into the bathroom and stared myself in the eyes and asked myself "what are you doing with your life?!....you say you believe in God but nothing you do shows that's the case....you said you'd devote your life to god when you were younger but you havnt!"
At that moment Jesus came to me…he placed his hand on my shoulder and told me who he was and why the father sent him, he forgave me and said I needed to forgive myself, I broke down in tears of happiness, peace and freedom . I gave away everything I owned that day and devoted my life to Jesus. I’ve been following him ever since! I am now 34 , married with 4 kids and 1 on the way! Still praising and following him, I’ve had my ups and downs but I’ll never forget that day he came to me and saved me. I love you Jesus and am so grateful you went out of your way for me a selfish sinner.

I felt this every lyric! I have been clean four years after a ten year meth addiction and everything else that followed! 21st i lost my mom, a week later i lost my grandmother this month has been tough but still clean biblically it says we have to lose it all to get to where were going was smoking herb for my mental health for the longest time until i realized it made paranoia worse medication never worked just gave me horrific side effects! But god blessed us with our own child through all this after i was told it was not possible two years ago because of my previous addiction ! I know what it means to have your back against the wall with no wheres to go i guess i just want to thank you and tell you how much i have appreciated all your music since i have found you yesterday! Your everyday blind "normal" person that floats though life doesn’t have a clue about the real struggle if they haven’t lived it and I mean really lived it! I lived a life of constant struggles and failures. Letting pain and anger from my childhood consume me to the point where I was in a dark place for close to 20 years.
