I followed all the steps and I get an error. It says bad definition at line 2 of file. Comma expected after text string. Linetype creation failed.
I've been trying to figure this out all day! I need to make a new line type for a drawing at work. No matter what I do I get that error. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I AM LOOKING FOR A WAY TO DRAW A CONTINUOUS LINE AND HAVE THE LETTERS FOLLOW THE CONTOUR OF THE LINE, AS IS DONE WITH AN ARC. FOR LINES WITH SHORT TEXT, THERE IS NOT MUCH OF A PROBLEM, BUT WHEN THE TEXT IS LONGER, IT IS. IF YOU MAKE A LINE WITH TEXT LONGER THAN FOUR LETTERS AND PUT THAT LINE IN A TIGHT TURN OR CIRCLE, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MY PROBLEM.

Hi, need help here. Been trying to custom the linetype but the text does'nt detect evrytime i try to select object. It only detect both lines instead. I've tried so many times but still same. Any idea on how to fix it?

Do not use m-text just explode the text...then make line type....

after type pvc select pvc text and explode it.

sorry for you are getting a problem first a fall your text should be in mtext when you PVC after that click on express then text click text to mtext i will work.....And one more thing you have to use Polyline....

when you explode the text, he will not change aspect. it will look like nothing happened. so, explode the text and try again. also, take care the scale of the line.
