So nice to see a boy soprano who has grown into his adult voice. Many boy sopranos' careers are over once their voice changes. Your artistry is still there, as is your love of music; I see a wonderful career ahead for you.
He has obviously been very well guided through the change. Boys who are forced to sing alto through the change or who stop singing altogether are the ones who can encounter problems with their adult voice. Slowly the message is spreading and reputable singing teachers are helping to lead the way. He is indeed fortunate to have been taught so well and his singing is as secure now as it was as a treble.

Finally got to listen on headphones on TH-cam, which is less compressed than Facebook. You have a beautiful voice, rich and pure, which I first heard in its full glory at Stolberg, and it is lovely to see and hear such progress since then. The lyrics as sung lose their slightly cloying and over-romantic feel of the original poem, I really do believe that sung poetry (when accompanied by such glorious music) hits me much more emotionally. The beauty of an English summer countryside where the lovers court is so well described that I feel I'm there. If I have any observation you just look a little serious for a lover with his love, as though she's forgotten the midge repellent! However, what is wonderful is that you have so much to build on and develop in your musical education and journey, and your singing brought me in and moved me greatly. Thank you for all you share Aksel! (and thanks to Natalia and the videographer (I'm assuming it's your Dad - doing such a good job still!)).

Yep, age keeps benefiting you in many ways...That was great. The vibrato would probably sound even better in some parts if it were just a little bit slower and more intense but it was great, anyway. Poetic and beautiful lyrics and the last word is the most powerful word and energy in the Universe... Excellent way of celebrating his birthday (Ralph Vaughan Williams October 12th. Thank you for the subtitles which assist one to listen carefully and follow Ralph Vaughan Williams's words-to-music. A first time in hearing this lilting rural song that pictures the English countryside in summer was so familiar to me an Englishman in what you portrayed so beautifully. I thought the Vaughan Williams's slow phrasing for the dragonfly a little disconcerting for an insect which darts quickly about hither and thither and is a vicious voracious predator upon other insects on the wing. Do you have lovely tall Cow Parsley growing in Norway? :-)

Yep, age keeps benefiting you in many ways...That was great. The vibrato would probably sound even better in some parts if it were just a little bit slower and more intense but it was great, anyway. Poetic and beautiful lyrics and the last word is the most powerful word and energy in the Universe... Excellent way of celebrating his birthday (Ralph Vaughan Williams October 12th. Columbus's day... ) Just like me, he didn't have to work on his birthday. Cool, right?... Happy birthday Ralph and bravi both!!! 🏭

Thank you for the subtitles which assist one to listen carefully and follow Ralph Vaughan Williams's words-to-music. A first time in hearing this lilting rural song that pictures the English countryside in summer was so familiar to me an Englishman in what you portrayed so beautifully. I thought the Vaughan Williams's slow phrasing for the dragonfly a little disconcerting for an insect which darts quickly about hither and thither and is a vicious voracious predator upon other insects on the wing. Do you have lovely tall Cow Parsley growing in Norway? :-)
Oh, the growth! The goosebumps are reappearing all over when you achieve the high notes again - the artistry was was there after your voice dropped, but the control has made waiting for your high notes so exciting!

I can imagine you would sing Vaughan Williams's "Songs of Travel" (listen to Bryn Terfel's performance) and other art song from the similar place and style (Holst, Moeran, Finzi, Quilter, Delius, Barber...).
