Tom. I love you guys. Been fighting cancer for the past year, and it gives me something to look forward to every week. You guys are great. Opening the packages, I feel like a kid again at Christmas. Greetings to all
Mr. Wittman, I think I speaking for EVERYONE when I say noone every gets mad when it's long. If it's 2+ hours it's the exact opposite, we're pumped(we always have the pause button). The only time I'm disappointed if it's around an hour or less. Cheers:)
Morning Mr Whitman and Rob, another great show, you don't need to apologise for the length of the show. The longer the better in my book. All the best from Phillip Colley in the UK
Hi Tom, I believe the inscription in the front of the SS photo album reads, "To my dear Granny, for lasting memories.. Berlin, 1942." In the facing picture he is wearing the collar rank of SS-Oberscharführer; equivalent to Feldwebel in the Wehrmacht and SFC in our Army. Or, thereabouts. 😉
I used to know a guy that had a motel on LBI. We used to sleep and hang out under the building, drink beer and eat cold pizza, when we were in our teens. I got a drag racing ticket on LBI.
Hi Tom, I am watching your video with a glass of red wine to keep my cholesterol down. In a couple of hours, I should be in negative digits. 😉👍🍷When you say a "pop," I normally think of how Justin Wilson, the Cajun Chef, meant it: "De sody pop wit' de foam on top." 🤣
Another great video by the Wittmann's, Thanks for removing the handle to reveal the fake blade. We need to learn from from Tom about how to identify fake blades, There are so many out there.
I believe that the hacos were numbered in red pen on the inside of the grip underneath the crossguard. My haco full rohm is number 750 for what thats worth. Thanks for the videos guys😁
Hi Mr. Wittmann, amongst other things I'm a graduate jeweler from GIA, and seen many mistakes in repairs, and I think I know whats going on with the Ernst Röhm SA dedication dagger at 36:36 This blade and crossguard look genuine, whats wrong with it is the original hilt was broken off, perhaps when it was decommissioned (after Night of the Long Knives) instead of grinding out the dedication, the blade was broken off at the hilt. However it happened, someone later brazed (look closely, its definitely been brazed) another, mismatched slightly wider, slightly longer hilt to the blade. And arrached it slightly off center. This new slightly off-center later attached hilt is the only thing making the centerline of the blade look off. If you measure the centerline of that blade from center to each edge it'll match correct. Its the wonky reattched (from some other blade) hilt thats caused all the issues. Once they tried to re-assemble and it was now too short, rather than going to all the work of removing, grinding, and re-attaching another replacement hilt, (which they probably didn't have) they then wallowed out the crossguard and wooden grip to get to fit tightly. Its a bad repair on a very rare dagger made worse in an attempt to salvage it. Anyway, keep em coming, another great video! Thanks!
WOW Killer XX Klaas Blade …. 😍 I don't see a (Robert Klaas) such in this condition for a long time! Perfekt first XX Dagger in a Collection! I wish i would find a Chicken (C.Bertram R or a Ed Gembruch) in exactly this Mint Condition …..it is like a Course ,when came one in five Years + the Blade is horrible!

A fantastic bronze! Icarus should have heeded the warnings of his father, Daedalus, and kept flying a little lower like he did! 😉👍
