It is now January, 2023. You posted this video about 2 years ago, and at that time you'd already heard almost everything Pentatonix had released. I, on the other hand, was late to the party. I only discovered Pentatonix around 4 months ago, and I'm still learning a lot about them. But I've watched all of their performances on _The Sing-Off,_ and I noticed a pattern in the comments of the judges. They *repeatedly* said some variation of "Every performance you give us a surprise. The question is, how long can you keep it up?" It turns out this question has an answer. By my count it is now almost 12 years and they're still doing it. There is no end in sight. I believe it's time to conclude that the answer is "Forever." As for "How?" I keep hearing this question from a lot of reactors. "How does Mitch do that?" "How does *Kevin* do that?" "How do they make it sound better than the original, when the original was perfect?" And now, from you, "How can they be this creative?" I don't know. I also don't know how they could be so lucky as to happen onto a genius like Kevin Olusola by going to TH-cam and typing in "beatboxer," but they were. As far as I can tell, the best answer to all of the "How" questions is "They're Pentatonix. They're magic." Yes, they each have talent that is off the charts. Yes, they're all very intelligent, not just Kevin. Yes, they always treat the music, the songwriters, and the original artists with utmost respect. Yes, they work very hard, and put their whole hearts into it. Yes, they fit well together, like a really good family. But there's also something extra there, and I don't know what it is. "Magic" is the best word I can find for it.

As a music school grad, I really believe you’d love a PTX older Christmas song filled with minor 9th and sus chords! The song ends with the tonic chord, but it’s a maj 9th sung by Scott! The voicing of that chord produces a shower of overtones. Also in this song, “Angels We Have Heard On High”, Avi does overtone singing and Kirstie produces whistle notes!By the way, Avi is a basso profundo with contra bass notes down to a 4th ledger-line bass clef F#! He has blown out speakers at live concerts because he has such power in his chest voice on those contra bass register notes! I think you’ll be amazed at PTX’s arrangement of this song! Oh, and nice work on your reactions!

She and other reactors does not stop and rewind certain parts of the video they're reacting because it annoys the hell out of other people she and other reactors needs to stop rewinding and talking and just react. She can look back after she reacts and give her opinions after just STOP!!!
Stopping and rewinding is actually a good idea. It helps avoid having her video blocked. She did a great job of it, stopping and rewinding at the end of the verses.
Have to admit, I will probably never watch another reaction from you. The way you kept moving the focus forward and back gave me motion sickness. Didn't mind the pauses, that's normal, but the way the camera was moving, no.
Do they use some studio audio tricks in their recordings? Of course they do, EVERYBODY does. However, they actually NEVER used the autotune effect until their recent 90s Dance Music Medley, and they only used it there as a tribute to the many artists who used it during the 90s on dance music. You seeing "no real talent" has about as much impact as me trying to make draft picks for pro soccer team (a sport I know absolutely nothing about). You wouldn't know real musical talent if it bit you in your ass.
