I think if I had been a little more to the left, the deer would have likely gone through my windshield and ended up in my lap, likely still alive. Funny thing is, the only reason I was in the center lane was because the SUV in the left lane was camping in the lane going slow. Had I not changed lanes about 15 seconds earlier I probably would have been okay.
Also glad ur ok. ….what happened to the deer 🦌? I have a 2011 NC too with sparkling black paint too. You mentioned ur having it painted. Just wondering will you be able to paint it like the original? Because our paint has this distinct gold sparkle ✨ on it . Just wondering how and where ur gonna get it? ( I’m thinking to repaint mine too).
The deer was badly injured when I hit it, and was killed when it was hit again by a second car behind me. I'm definitely planning on painting like stock. The body shop I am using also did paint on my Velocity Red MSM, which is a tough color to match, and they did a great job on it. Hopefully, they can do as well with this one.

Dude! Glad you’re ok. That’s scary. I’ve hit a deer before too but it totaled my old car.
