@g.xiujin Thanks! I’ve played co-op a few times and it’s pretty tough (but still fun). I’ve been stuck on the 4th scenario for a while; for some reason I find the conservation action so much more difficult, but it really isn’t any different than journaling 🤷♂️
@e4224 Thank you for letting me know! I would love to keep playing Endeavor: Deep Sea, so that works out for both of us haha Expect my next EDS playthrough to go poorly though haha, I am absolutely *terrible* at Mission 4 and I just haven't been able to figure out why yet. I'll get it recorded and posted in the new year either way =)
@@table_for_one I definitely struggle with mission 4 too. Trying to get "to the ocean floor" has resulted in desaster. Sonar is wasted if not done in columns A or E, so it seems you have to do a wasted sonar to get a tile with sonar on it in depth 1 in column A or E, and then sonar your way down that column ... but good luck with getting more sonar tiles there that allow you to go even further down. And while doing that, it's hard to conserve too. And disks down there at depths 4&5 only count for the ocean floor goal, there isn't even any sonar in depth 4 and to get the fancy depth 5 sonar tile means getting very lucky. It worked best for me to completely ignore the depths and concentrate on A&E, which is a pity because it would be nice to have a reason for diving deep. I'm definitely looking forward to your playthrough :D
@e4224 Well at least it's not just me then! You gave me some good things to think about though in terms of how to approach the goals. I'll have to let this sink in a bit before I play it--thanks!
@vychodnarbavistolovky Thanks for that feedback! I love E:DS, so I'd be happy to keep recording my way through all of the scenarios! Fair warning: I am exceptionally and inexplicably terrible at the next mission hahaha I just can't figure it out
@vychodnarbavistolovky Well the last time I tried mission 4 (maybe a week and a half ago) I only managed to achieve ONE goal!!! lol wish me luck for next time hahahaha
@melibabe During previous missions you must use the Sea Star as your launch zone where you place your initial vessel, gaining the arrival bonus of 1 disc. But in this mission you can choose any depth-1 zone as your launch zone, and I chose the Volcanic Island, which instead has an arrival bonus of advancing your Ingenuity track. Then at the start of the first round, you also gain discs based on you Inspiration track (generally 1), and then recover 1 disc from your Team Leader based on your Coordination track (also usually 1). So yeah, typically you have 3 discs to take your first turn, but because I chose a different launch zone I only had 2. Did that all make sense?
Enjoyed watching you play this scenario! Am having fun playing this co-op with my sib, we're 'stuck' figuring out this scenario hahahas

So close on 6/7 , very much enjoy to watch😊
@ravenplus It was painfully close! Next time I should read the goals more carefully at the *beginning* haha!
I love your plays of Endeavor:Deep Sea, would love to see more ;)

@@table_for_one - I played only the firt two and my best shot was achieving 5 goals 😀 I just love to watch someone to play games I like 🙂

Shouldn’t you have had a disk at the very start of the game?
