    A great collection of realistic approaches to not only "hook" an audience - but also how to keep them listening. Your approaches are, within their own right, worthy of a separate video.
    Knowledgable & able to render fact from fiction or false assumption, Mr. Tay is an expert. How so? He is smooth & flexible on the approach, methodology, & estimated results. By seeing a problem or seeking 1 solution is NOT enough. Mr. Tay looks at & describes the factors that make his wisdom keys to success. Bravo, Sir. ~

    Sir, whenever I speak on stage ,my body movements and facial expressions get too amusing that it reduces the effectiveness of my speech and makes me look comical. So, what is the right way to use your body while making a speech? Would you please furnish me?

    Do you know the different between speech and narration??? In my public speaking class, I have to write an introduction for speech. So I've write and consult with my lecture but she said that my introduction is looks like narration. So I got confused. Thanks.

    • @DarrenTay
      @DarrenTay  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dear Nadia, thank you for your question! Narration is just a sharing of facts/ information. For example, "Danny is a nasty person.".
      If you want your speech to be engaging and thought-stimulating, you can try acting out the facts or information. "Danny is the kind of person who stiff-arms his children, hurls vulgarities at his wife, and hollers "Where the hell is my dinner?!" when he comes back home.". You didn't narrate the fact that Danny was a total jackass. But in your speech, you act it out :)
