@@nellebillie2555 so like she says, when you multiply two things together with the same base (in this case 70n) then you add the powers together. The powers are 1/5 and 2/6 (which is the same as 1/3). The common denominator of 1/5 and 1/3 is 15. So 1/5 is the same as 3/15 and 1/3 is the same as 5/15. So added together they give 8/15. Does that make sense?
@@nellebillie2555 I'm sorry, I'm not a teacher, I don't know how to explain it better. You simplify the function so you get (70n)^(8/15). Then because of the question, you know that's equal to (70n)^(30x). Because the bases are the same, and non-variable, you can equate their powers, so 8/15 = 30x. Then, to find x, do 8/15 divided by 30 gives you 8/550 (from 15 * 30), which simplifies to 4/225.
Took me waaaay longer than the video clip 😢
just because I did it in my mind it took me a bit longer than the explanation, but with desmos calculator, it should be easier
ye these questions are hard, i use them To Advance train for my 6th grade quizzes
(70n)^1/5 (70n)^1/3
= (70n)^(1/5+1/3)
= (70n)^8/15
==> 30x = 8/15
==> x = 4/225
No need to overcomplicate
A pretty nice question to stall us.
Can you solve the problem 🙂
Once you see the problem in math terms its way easier its just the words
I'm practicing this for my grade 6 math quiz bee
Can you do cubic equations next please
Except I don't get that all. Let me restudy the problem and see where I went wrong.
Really? They would actually structure such a question without simply equating it to the factor with "x" and then simply ask to solve for x?
Ah! 😭 I had made it wrong.
I confess I have no idea how I got 700 on my Math SAT
I think you’re cooked bro
Please i need someone to pay me to write 😢😢😢😢😢
Quite easy tbh….. I could do it in my head.
Same, except for the last step my head cannot do it, and I minored in math and love math. You're better than I am.
It was so easy I done it in my mind under 30 seconds
Congratulations you special little cookie
Wtf
Which part confuses you? Maybe I can help explain :).
@@nobodyspecial7895 where did she get 8/15 from??
