    Mate, really enjoying the videos. For off-roading, you could drop the angle of your clutch and brake levers downwards a few degrees. This will improve the ergonomics by keeping your wrist and fingers a straighter line from your arm rather than bending at am increased angle when standing. 👍

    Hi Ben, Hi to everybody in this community
    Have a good and happy new year.
    My tipp instead of Barkbusters: Its the Handprotector from Acerbis, full metal, plastic - Pieces in front, changeable when broken (but normally not necessary, they are really heavy duties), inside a very strong metal - buster, its really also heavy duty and works very well...... The Price in Germany about 60 or 70 Euros, half the Price as original Barkbusters.
    You can find them on Amazon and in every good managed and sorted shops in the internet... The Amazon - price in Germany is a little higher, but really lower than original barkbusters.
    Best wishes to you and your channel

    Hi Ben
    I have few questions regarding the handlebar
    1•Will those switchgear positioning knobs go right in place with the holes on the KTM handlebar or we need to drill new ones?
    2•Without the bar risers, will this fit just like the stock bar or will there be a curvature-diameter mismatch?
    3•Is this the stock handlebar of 2019 Duke 390?

    • @ONTWOWHEELSBEN
      @ONTWOWHEELSBEN  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      switchgear will fit alright but you will have to drillout the existing hole to a slightly larger dia (5-6mm)
      will fit without the bar risers very well. just like stock.
      yes it is the duke 390 but 2018.
      also pls keep in mind that these bars come towards the rider and are not straight like the stock ones. they are street handlebars , extremely comfortable on long rides but not the best choice for hardcore offroad riding.

These are solid handguards and if you have an Allen key (basic tool kit) you can set it again in seconds. No hassle to fit at 2 places. And you can lock handle with it no issues. Most people go with KTM handle guard because they look for a cheaper alternative. Now having ridden extensively through slow/ice/cold/rain/bushes/thorns I can stand by RE handguards as a very good option at the price range. try hitting RE handguard as hard as possible when you see it on a bike.

      the front of the classic is 19 . that will cause a difference of more than 10 km/hr error on the speedo. if yours is an abs model stay away from modifying the front. the rear of the classic is 18 " and the himalayan's is 17" so you will loose about 1-2 cms of suspension travel . you may bottom out more frequently when riding with load exceeding 150 kilos .

    Sir I'm thinking of replacing the air filter and the exhaust with k&n and RRP exhaust ..... but I'm more of a really long tourer so fuel economy is a priority for me ... as of now I'm getting an avg of 30kmpl on highway..... does the new exhaust reduce the fuel avg.... i know this is a long question... pls answer ..... and check my channel out too😅

    • @ONTWOWHEELSBEN
      @ONTWOWHEELSBEN  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Abhishek Desai the airfilter and the exhaust is not a good combo without a remap of the fuel . Both the afore mentioned items will make your bike run terribly lean and will result in loss of power at any given rpm . As a result you will end up using more throttle to compensate for the loss of power and end up revving high which will result in even lesser mileage than now . Air filter or exhaust is the way to go . Or add a powertronic Ecu and ask the team for a custom map for your bike with the mods and you are all set

    Anyone who instals ONLY two point crash guards must lack basic common sense when talking about "improvements" to a bike.

    • @ONTWOWHEELSBEN
      @ONTWOWHEELSBEN  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then the ONLY person who should be blamed is the RE Designer who thought this should come as a STANDARD fitment to the Himalayan . There are advantages to a two point system which you may not understand because you are beyond BASIC COMMON SENSE . All that information in the video and all that you could see was this . And to take the effort to put it across in the most insulting of ways speaks volumes of your mindset . Thank you 🙏

    • @10susan10
      @10susan10 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ONTWOWHEELSBEN The ONLY NO common sense to a two point crash guard is the failure to realize the riders physical danger IF their leg is trapped by that collapsing "guard" and they can not free theirself afterward. As the mounting tabs are but thin metal tabs a 90* crash with a car bumper could easily collapse that "guard" onto the rider's lower leg entrapping them.
