Thank you Rozann, no other review covered how to actually use the thing entirely. Couldnt figure out putting the peeler back in the box until you!

Great job going through the Breville's many blades and accessories. By far the best video or article I've seen describing this machine and its parts and how to use the storage and how to install the parts in the machine. Very helpful to me because I found the machine very intimidating at first. Now I know to line up the arrows! Thank you so much! BTW, I've bought yellow and red beets and carrots and am going to make your beet salad using the Breville this weekend.

I’m so glad the video helped you. I was really at a loss when I open mine because Breville just does not do a very good job about explaining all the moving parts. Until you figure out those arrows lining up that desk, your top is never going to fit lol drove me a little bit crazy. But isn’t it a wonderful machine? I think I’m most love peeling potatoes and beets in it.

Thank you for a wonderful, easy to follow explanation of how to lay the parts back into the container with the arrow. I do know what that round hard plasic piece is, I took a picture of all the parts before unboxing. After you put your protective plastic shield on the slicing blade this round piece lays over the middle part of the protective shield in the middle part on you your slicing blade it protects it from the top box.

If you ever figure out what that round piece please let me know. 2 years later it is still rolling around send I still have no idea what it used for. Lol

I found your video helpful as well and am also trying to figure out what the heck that random part is you are also trying to figure out. I have searched everything I could find online and on TH-cam, and so far, you are the only one I have seen so far who has mentioned anything about it.

I know! That little piece was driving me a little bit crazy it’s just too well machined to be a piece that was just holding something together. If you ever figure it out, let me know. Happy Thanksgiving.
