    This was so good to watch. I have had my unit for a few years now and just saw you can whip cream and grate the cabbage for coleslaw with the carrots. I have always used the adjustable blade. I never thought of grating it. You really have made my life so much easier. Thank you.

      What a lovely comment, thanks so much! Yes it's a GRATE machine, I use it at least weekly if not more often (I made up a batch of cheese straws in mine with the quad blade just yesterday - cheese, butter, flour, milk, whizz, roll, cut, bake!).

    I dont like to put my good kit in the dishwasher. It tends to rip the guts out of anything. My Nutribullet cups look like frosted glass now. I have to say that your processor bowl looks in good condition for having been in the dishwasher. On to my tip - because I hand wash and because that quad blade is super sharp, i perform a prewash by putting a drop of washing up liquid in the bowl with a couple of cms of water and then whizz for a few seconds. Then, it's usually just a case of rinsing under the tap. The good thing about the sage is that it has that rubber seal. With my Magimix, I have to be mindful of leakage around the lid.

      That's a fair judgement. I take strict care of my dishwasher, using a high quality detergent and clean it monthly because (a) I spent a lot of money on it (b) I hate washing up by hand! So I've managed to avoid the 'frosted glass' look. Great tip on washing it - I do the same for my blender so not sure why I hadn't thought of it here! Wish I'd put that in my video now.

    thanks Gary great vid. We have a unboxed Magimix can't wait to try! Kitchen renovation finally nearing completion. Cheers

      Ooh a kitchen renovation, how exciting. I lived off paper plates and a hotplate while mine went on, hope it's going well. Let me know how the Magimix is.

    Hey Gary, superb video and gadget review! This looks similar to my Bosch which are got rid of but it didn't have half the gadgets or functions. The gadget storage cabinet is superb but may struggle storing that somewhere. These top tips are truly amazing and I've never used it for these. My problem is that my channel is mainly vegan and health, so these are limited, other than the veg slicing and breadcrumbs. The mayonnaise tip was great too, I did try making Taum which was great. Your videos are forever improving. The last safety tip with placing in the dishwasher in the cover is a super tip, well done! Keep up the great work. James ?;^D

      Thanks James, what a lovely comment. Back in my full review of this I did comment that finding space for it is a concern. It is a beast! You have a Ninja don't you? How do you find it? See you on the next one.

      @@BigSpud Oh, I didn’t realise you did a full video of this. These video reviews of kitchen gadgets are good, I’ve done a few. Doing Shorts for these are a drag but worth it, especially to promote your main video. Yes, I have a Ninja but still barely use it, although it’s a great upgrade. The gadgets on yours are great though

      Super cool! Very temepted to buy. Can I use this to slice softer, leafy vegetables like spinach or lettuce for salad? Which blade is the best for bite-size? Planning for 3 days mealprep to reduce washing!

    I've recently purchased one. Just under £240 on Amazon on offer and was able to get 0% finance on it over 12 months, can't complain! I would have liked to be able to purchase the peeling and dicing attachments seperately but I read that they're not compatible?

    • @BigSpud
      @BigSpud  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ooh that is a cracking deal! I hope you enjoy and feel free to ask questions. I don't believe they are compatible no, I've looked into it myself. Definitely can't justify buying another (very similar) machine just to try those tools!
