  • What counts as plagiarism in music? And how much of a problem is it? Studies show that most artists settle for too little when their work gets plagiarised, despite how much the plagiarising artist makes. Of course… that isn’t always the case.
Plagiarism in music has a lot of different opinions, and nobody can quite decide what should count as inspiration and what should be labeled a rip-off. We at Fixgerald.com aim to help writers and creatives avoid these issues where writing is concerned because plagiarism seems to be a common problem in most creative fields.
To understand the implications of plagiarism in art, we decided to study the most well-known cases of plagiarism in the music industry and analyze their success, or in some cases, failure.

Simply put: Inspiration is taking qualities from someone else's creation and remixing them with other ideas to make something else, yet typically giving credit to the original creator of that idea. Plagiarism is copying someone else's creation or idea, only tweaking a few things, and taking credit as the original inventor of that creation or idea whether overtly or through a lie of omission.

There's only so many notes in music! I think it's nearly all used up ! I cringe at any new people saying that they want to be a new artist!! Nearly any new music is bullshit and is completely stupid!!!

Excuse me!!! The 3LW lawsuit is still not over, so you should not affirm that it's plagarism because the issue is not settled. Players gonna play is a very popular phrase and Taylor Swift is talented and smart enough to copy from other artists. Plus, she always likes to film the songwriting process just in case things like this happen.
