i acsualy hate new Android releases. i feel comfortable on something like Android 11, 12 or 13 over the garbage Android 14. older releases have bether ui
You are spot on with the older flagships as a great option. I bought an S 22 Ultra a month ago. I don't notice any significant issues except the battery life, as you pointed out.
I tend to be on the latter category of the market. I don't care if it only has a couple of years of support as long as I still get that premium feel and performance of a flagship.
Damn good phone. I've had mine since launch, i will say i probably need a new battery at this point, but it's running better than when i 1st bought it. Hell, it's still in mint condition & has almost 3 years of updates. I'll keep mine until it slows down, or im just tired of it. Until then, she's gonna stay by my side. btw, i love the curve display 🩷
I have the S22 Ultra and have nothing but battery issues with my since day one. After the 6.1.1 update phone is smooth as can be and phone works like a new one but the damage has been done. I would definitely choose S24 over S22 Ultra any day.
It's still a great phone, I also have the European exynos version, but I have no problem with it. If I ever think it isn't fast, I fire up my lumia 950 and am instantly reassured that it is fast.
one big downside of the S22 lineup is that Exynos chipset on the international models is going to be much worse and underpowered compared to the 8 gen 1 which already is considered underpowered
I have an ss 22 ultra. I have wondered if i should go up to my s24 ultra. I'll probably wait till s25. Thanks for the review! ❤ I just ordered the iphone 16 Promax to upgrade my iPhone. I use that for work mostly.... I can't wait to compare the two. I get my 22 still reigns. Samsung is always my go to. 😂
Only problem I have is signal problems it disconnects from my T-Mobile network in places where T-Mobile network is strong, it's almost unusable because I don't know when the service disconnects and when it will reconnect super annoying
The problem with this phone is it was just a bad year for battery efficiency with the chip. You had the GOS throttling scandal and geekbench delisting this among other devices. It's a shame too because there was no note in 2021. so if you really want a flagship with an S pen built in on the resale market, your options are a note 20 ultra which has the excellent tsmc fabricated chip and the SD card but is now passed its end of life effectively... or the s22 ultra, which loses the SD card and doesn't have the tsmc fabricated chipset. But it's old enough to be reasonably affordable. s 21 ultra is kind of the worst of all worlds because the S pen is not built in and 888 was also fabricated by Samsung like the 8g1. so anyways, the point is if you're in the market for a phone with an S pen on the resale market, it's a rough spot to be. The note 9 and the Note 10 and the note 20 are no longer supported.... The note 22 gets terrible battery life. And the 23 and 24 are still like 900 bucks or more. It's just a shame there's not an S pen in an Fe model or something. so someone that wants an S pen for like 6 or 700 bucks could get one. something like the Note 10 lite which they only released once and not in the US
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra does only have Circle to Search after Android 14 with 6.1 update. but i still prefer Note 20 Ultra over the new phones. Exynos 990 is still great
What a weird comment section. I saw the phone buff speed test of this device and it sucks. I've seen updated videos of that in 2024 and it looks laggy AF, choppy and just terrible
People can make phones look anyway they want. Trust people who are using the thing on the daily, not somebody who just is flying around the UI in a video as it updates in the background or something causing it to look laggy.
If you're comfortable with pre-owned phones, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is definitely worth a look...now with Galaxy AI!
Unless you're from Europe. We had the exynos version, which was absolutely rubbish. I traded it in for the S23 Ultra and had no regrets
@@Mike.Tech. No. Snapdragon is rubbish. i use Exynos 2200 and its the best

I'm watching from my S22 ultra. It's definitely still worth it
Bro kesa h mere pas s21 h Kamal h

@Someone1727h Mine isn't lagging
till when it gets the updated??

Everytime you make a video on the S22 Ultra I get excited.
Excellent video, good talking points! I have the 512gb variant, still have over 320gb of storage. It runs great!!
Im still Rocking mine waiting on the new update Great Review😊
Watching on my s22 ultra still a good phone with 3 more years of support, yeah I'll stick with one for many more years!

Upgraded from an a53 5g and never looked back.
Nice upgrade!!
I prefer the natural color on the s24 colors easier on the eyes.
i actually think i liked the S22 Ultra's color calibration over the S23 Ultra(had both in a fairly short succession of time.)

6.5* and S22 series arent getting it
@Galaxy.Windows S22 Ultra been had 6.1.1. It shows as 6.1 but most of the AI features are there.
It's still a great phone, I also have the European exynos version, but I have no problem with it. If I ever think it isn't fast, I fire up my lumia 950 and am instantly reassured that it is fast.
Lol poor Windows Phone.
@@StevealiciousTech it was the best in it's day. Live tiles were amazing.
I like the S22'S curved screen, compared to my S24's rough flat screen.
S22 ultra has a ton of life left.
I think the S22 ultra is still a very good phone. My wife is still using hers and it holds out quite nicely. It is worth it even in 2024.
I plan to buy an S22 Ultra, what are their cameras like and how many more years will you have an update 🎉🎉🎉
one big downside of the S22 lineup is that Exynos chipset on the international models is going to be much worse and underpowered compared to the 8 gen 1 which already is considered underpowered

😂
In my country there are s20 plus for 150 euro in almost new condition right now on the secondary market , so cheap...
Should I get a battery replacement guys😅 this on like 80%
Of course it'll run like a brand new phone again.
Only problem I have is signal problems it disconnects from my T-Mobile network in places where T-Mobile network is strong, it's almost unusable because I don't know when the service disconnects and when it will reconnect super annoying
Old is Gold s22 Ultra is still tough and best at all times!

Looks good alot better then s21
I thought the s21 ultra was the prettiest phone Samsung had ever made so I just have to disagree with you there buddy. 😂

Better performance with the S22 Ultra, how?
This is something Apple never did...AI to Iphone 14s
Exactly!
Greenline with AI
yes. watching the video on S22 Ultra with off center greenline. 😂
Best phone ever

Galaxy S22 is Trump 👑 iPhone 14 is Kamala Harris ❤
lol
Its old news tell something new about this phone
