    coming from an Audi, got tired of their overpriced everything to maintain it, ending up with a Overland with the tech pack and luxury pack, absolutely loaded with the heads up display, massage seats, McIntosh sound, 360 cameras, ambient lightning, very nice truck. To get all this in a Audi your looking at well over 100k.

      Plus the nightmare that comes with Audi, once was enough! I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, but I opted for the 3.6L V6. I don't like the sounds 4 cylinder engines make.

      @@jamesmyers9285 I agree the 4 cylinder is not enough for that frame, I also got the 3.6 and it’s plenty for day to day driving. The Audi ended up needing an engine rebuild at 80k even with perfect oil change records.

    I think before you decide which version is the best, you really need to look at how you plan on using it. Yes the Trailhawk is nice but only if you plan on taking it off road. I don't plan on using it that way. I want luxury but also it has to be good in the snow for up North and tropical storms for down South. The Summit is perfect for my needs with the QuadraDrive ll, MacIntosh stereo, night vision, semi-autonomous driving, passenger side hi res display, beautiful and comfortable interior with massage seats along with 4 zone climate control and ventilated and cooling front seats. Its a great ride and perfect for my needs.
    One thing I will disagree on with Autotrader is the 4xe hybrid motor. You will need to spend around $2,000 for installation and hardware for a fast charger in your garage. Plus its a weak electric motor that only gets 25 miles on a charge. Thus you will likely always have it in hybrid mode until the battery is depleted and then you're stuck with a 2L four cylinder motor. No thanks. I will wait for version 2.

    I normally drive a Ram 1500. Recent trips saw me rent a Grand Cherokee Limited and a Volvo S60. Both roughly the same price for the sake of argument. I was impressed by the Volvo because I don't drive a car that much, but I put 1700 miles on the Jeep in 4 days. I really liked it. The leather seats got a little uncomfortable at times but I was doing 5-6hr stretches at a time. The fuel was showing upto 23mpg (don't know how accurate) which is much better than my Ram. Both the autos I recently rented were AWD or 4wd. If I were in the market, I would really consider the Jeep.

    I love the Capri Beige on the Limited trim, I prefer the exterior of the Overland with the painted wheel arches & panels, but I hate that the Overland only comes with an all black interior. I wish they would at least let you get the beige or the Steel Gray they used to offer on 2022-early 2023 Overland models. I love the Tupelo interior color which is limited to the Summit & Summit Reserve trims, so I wish the Overland trim offered that without the diamond quilting if necessary (even though I like that too). Not everyone wants an all black interior. The only consolation is the contrasting color wood trim & multicolor ambient lighting which brightens up the interior

    Well…. Obviously,
    The best is always the most expensive.
    But not the smartest.
    You can spend nearly $80,000 on a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
    But it is still a Grand Cherokee. And is almost identical to an Altitude. And even a Laredo.
    Same body. Same headlights and taillights.
    Want an $80,000 luxury SUV?
    Go
    To
    A Lux SUV manufacturer.
    Like Lexus. Or BMW. Or Mercedes.
    So
    Your $80,000 vehicle looks like an $80,000 SUV .
    And not a $45,000 SUV.

      @davidmilner8778 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are meaningful differences in the trim levels both exterior and interior. It's all preference at the end of the day. Jeep ahas It's own cache. Established luxury brands generally speak to a different audience. The latest GCs are a nice mix of luxury and rugged with the off-road bones to match. Plus, it's still considered an American brand.

    • @rxonmymind8362
      @rxonmymind8362 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My Grand Cherokee looks like the $70k plus I spent for it. I love it and did not prefer a Japanese, Korean or German brand. The trims matter, and you can see the difference. It's an American brand and worth every penny. A person's vehicle is a personal choice and should fit them. Luxury brands are not a fit for everyone who can afford them. Jeeps provide a nice mix of rugged and luxury. Certainly a premium American brand. I understand the point that you are making, but it assumes that a person would naturally prefer a luxury brand for the same money.

    These propaganda Jeep, TH-cam videos are really starting to sicken me. Jeep is not designed to last over 100,000 miles or 10 years. They have a parade of different problems that will occur once the car starts getting up in the 70,000 mile range. The UConnect System is a known joke. It is littered with connection problems and the screens going completely blank. Engine mounts, heated seats, bearings, radiators, thermostats, water pumps, shocks, AC compressors, heating coils, air/heat diverter box, rear wiper motor, delaminating of faux wood paneling, fogging of inside headlights and warping of top leather panels are infamous. Jeep is a money sucking pit once the warranty expires. I know because I have owned 3 of them. All the same. Apparently I am a glutton for punishment? And before you ask, I follow the maintenance religiously and keep it looking, showroom quality.

    Garbage, pure Trash. I own a Grand Garbage. It is worthless. Over $14K in repairs in the last 3 years now. Check engine light glowing bright. Dealership siad, give us your Jeep, we will not give you anything for it due to check engine ligjt. Then you can give us $ 20K down......and we will sell you a $90K plus Cherokee that will be better, we promise. However, they say after 6 years you will need another new Grand Garbage as they will not last longer than that anymore. 2011 to 2024 will not make it 6 years without huge bills for repair. Just Expect Every Problem. That spells JEEP
