THIS was a problem I recently had for a week or so and couldn't figure out why. Very frustrating. I even reinstalled UCCNC. Fortunately I figured it out just before this video posted. Primarily I was misreading the datum I had set in Vectric. But this video is valuable. It would apply to most CNC router operations.
Hello I'm new to the UCCNC software. Everything was going well until I stopped the cycle of what I was doing. Now everything is very strange, when I do HOME ALL the Z starts to go down until it hits the table, and Y in the software moves in the positive direction but the machine is stopped! Can you help me? UNCNC v1.2111 STEPCRAFT M700
Nice video. Side note you guys really need to put more content about your machines. I am in the market and Step craft and 2 other company's have my attention. Since you can't go into a store and visibly see which one fits the individual YT and on your own product page is really lacking.
UCCNC needs to establish softlimits for both ends regardless of hard limit switches. If you g code is out of bounds on the side of hard switches it will trigger the switch rather than stop at home locations.
Hi, please can you help....I'm looking to machine some detailed parts out of 3mm thick copper sheet and would be really grateful if you can recommend the best, but cost effective grade...I've narrowed down to c111 copper/sulphur alloy vs c145 tellurium/copper alloy? Please note that I must use copper, not brass. Many thanks in advance, Luke
I am sorry. I am a newbe. I understand what you are saying, but not how to fix the problems with x and y. I have "zero'd" a million times on different places, but nothing works... and it is really a very very small and easy job! Why am I always "out of bounds" and why will it not accept my "zero". /Jes
stepcraft . problems after problems ..... everyone keeps having problems :))) why do you still sell them ? i dont get it / nothing works :))) wtf 😁😁😁😁😁

Outstanding Greg! Thank you!😃
Uccnc seems to have a newer display than the one I have. Is there an update for this?
Great Video, very helpful in demystifying the "Software Limits" message in UCCNC!
Well explained and thanks. Could you please demonstrate how to adjust the X and Y soft limits fit the job extents?
Super informative video! Great job
Nice job.. thanks for the info.
