    I recommend that you guys study for a very long time especially those who don’t have any experience with the criminal justice system. This certification is extremely hard. They will set you up to fail. Take college courses or online classes. I can’t recommend anyone but California has some good instructions.

    One if the issues were that the time between one person speaking and the other were like 2 or 3 seconda but they were speaking like a 10 seconds long sentence. So it was designed to make us nervous and fail. Very hard to memorize like 4 long sentences to interpret and then they give you 2 or 3 seconds to translate it and already start the next phrase. It was not consecutive. It was full simultaneous

    Can an experienced interpreter please tell me in what language should you write your notes during consecutive… in your language or the language you’re interpreting to? (Target)

    I had my oral court test today. After 15 minutes I withdraw it. It was impossible. I felt so miserable. I also had a very very hard time this past couple of days and it affected me.

    • @Interpretrain
      @Interpretrain  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am so sorry to hear that! If this is your dream, please do not give up. Many interpreters have terrible experiences with their exams before they succeed and pass it.
      Remember, what's truly important is not how many times you fall, but how many times you get up.
