Range Rover is upper class luxury and escalade is upper middle class luxury, just like Chevy High Country is middle class luxury.....Comparing Range is sort of an insult....but you're comparing price ranges at this point... Range will still cost more with maintenance but Escalade will probably be in the shop more than a Range
the most important thing is a good warranty if you want a Range Rover because in the first years they have a lot electronic issues but on the other hand you feel like a Lord when you drive one.
You never did say which make your watch is, I presume you were promoting it, as you were waving it in front of the camera continuously, to make sure we saw more of it than the car. Please, what make is it & could you make another of the car only, Grazie Mille
The extra silence is due to the noise cancelling speakers as well. My LWB Autobiography 2023 (on order) has a rear seat center console with ipad like screen and electric folding arm rest. Why is it missing here?
What a 🤡. I own the a 2022 Escalade that i use as a daily driver and my 2012 Range Rover as my weekend car. Can't compare these two vehicles, Escalade is an economic luxury vehicle and the Range Rover is a premium luxury vehicle, the only con is that the reliability is trash. But I'd still love my RR. The escalade is full of cheap plastic and i feel like i drive a tank lol
Loved my '16 Escalade, but the RRSC I traded up for was in a completely different class... fit/finish/performance/luxury/etc. I sat in a '22 Escalade and the amount of hard plastic trim (already falling off) was crazy at $110K.
Escalade is worse Owned both my range hopefully didn't have any problem even if it's older but man my escalade, so many problems finally I sold it and I'm happy
I hate to burst your bubble but 90% of this features I have in my 2016 Range Rover (seat on the tail gate door, electric adjustments on rear seats etc...) Unquestionably, this is a beautiful car. However, for a quarter million dollars? My Genesis GV80 literally has every single feature you described. And I can assure you it didn't cost a quarter million dollars. And it has a 10-year 100,000 mile warranty, concierge service, free maintenance, and the interior is actually as quiet as the Range Rover. It also has a locking differential, etc. And it has a 22-speaker premium stereo system with subwoofers literally under each seat as well as in the back.
I should do a video on my Genesis. You know, for those of us who don't have a quarter mil to throw around... LOL. I have met a lot of other owners, and they all are very enthusiastic. Honestly, the only complaints I have about it are that I constantly have to wash the passenger windows from people putting their palms on it trying to look inside, and every time I get in my car, there are a bunch of people taking selfies with it LOL. It is just hilarious how much attention this car gets...
Just ordered Autobiography LWB for $173k. 7 seater & every option added. Genesis? I would not even step inside the dealership, let alone own it. I do not understand the sour grapes comments - if you have the means, go ahead buy it. If not, buy what ever you can afford - just stop justifying or complaining about value. The new Range Rover is a nice car, but not at Escallade Killer. The Escallade V have 682 horsepower and gives me more space and the same luxury comfort and design and is a SUV BOSS.
Never an Escalade killer the Escalade is still dominant over all suvs man sales, tech, and horsepower have you not seen the new 22 interior and the new Escalade v wow I'm sorry man I'm going with the Escalade man and it's cheaper and more reliable lol.
I owned 3 of them and loved them I think you haven't owned one After reading these i always laugh coz I know tons of people with rr and no problems, I'm one of them.
Drag race? No drag race? To be honest Sam, that’s what made your channel draw me in. There are a plethora of car reviewing channels it’s insane and boring. Range Rovers and Jaguars are owned by Tata. It’s a Chinese made car really. Plus, I guarantee that SUV won’t last 100k miles without a breakdown with a repair bill over 5k at the very least.
Your saying that rr is unrellible but you forget how escalade is even more unrellibile I just had no issues with my 2017 range rover but i had tooo many issues on my 2018 escalade just sold one and I'm happy
For those saying it’s and insult to RR, no. It’s and insult to Cadillac that a three row version was ever made. Because now Range Rover dominates full size 2 row suvs, and now 3 row suvs.
No thank you I’ll take the new 2022 Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum. The reason is because this new 2023 Range Rover is more for people who like to be driven, everything else is plain, boring, feels and looks like is stuck in 2018. I like to drive my Luxury vehicles so the new 2022 Escalade Sport Platinum has better driver focused tech, better luxurious looking seats, more safety, more road Presence and most importantly better engineered for CAR GUYS who like to keep their cars long. These days not even the Rolls Royce Cullinan competes with the Escalade. Also keep in mind I’m not even talking about the V Escalade.
Ergonomically, physically and practicality speaking. The Escalade and Escalade ESV in any trim level will stand above the rest in more ways than one for its massive sheer size alone without getting into anything technical at all there’s just nothing else you can buy that’s like or similar because nothing else is body on frame and luxury with the same amount of comfort and practicality. Escalade is in a class of its own period. Unless it’s a GM truck which would be a sibling but not in same price range those are the only one that compare but not compete because they are in different price point ranges. Case closed
Might I also mention it has the presence like no other vehicle on the road which makes it a sales killer because low income people want it, middle class people want and the wealthy have to have it… especially celebrities and A listers like the people we all look up too in the public eye. They have both in their fleets but for two different reasons
The rear headlights looks like a knock off Cadillac Escalade and the interior is joke. I was really hoping this new 2023 Range Rover offer better tech.🤔 The slapped on iPads style screens just look cheap and also look like they ran out of ideas.😔 Also the rear wheel steering is a deal breaker for me since it will introduce nightmares of problems along with all the problems of that BMW junk engine👎
I beg the differ, when I am heading to work and I see a lot full of Range Rovers that are broke down. I would not buy one if they dropped to $10,000 brand new. I will never own this vehicle period.
Escalade killer? What an insult for Range Rover to be compared to an Escalade😉
Why not?
Range Rover will spend most of its time in services lol
