I'm a SU guy but big ups to PV..very nice sound and song selection was on point.. and nice footage
+Daniel Owens yea PV was nice, but I feel SU just weren't into this game for some reason. Even as early as the 1st qtr. If you watch that 1st qtr video, you could see SU wasn't hyped at all, when they were chanting "OK". They were off the chains with it facing JSU. SU didn't even play none of their technical songs. Anyone who follows the "Jukes" notices the difference. SU didn't dig into PV, and only SU knows why.

+Mahthias Fountain Man I thought I was the only one. Even during the game they were playing they're entry level songs and just seemed off. I was bored with them the whole game. Even the halftime show was lack luster. I just didn't feel anything from the Human Jukebox. Especially with it being homecoming. The Jukebox I know goes hard every game.

For some reason, su chose not to be so aggressive with pv, as they were with jsu, and tc. I'm truly wondering why? Bandheads know su have alot of technical songs in that playbook. We heard alot of the songs, when they played jsu, and tc, but they didn't play any against pv.

ruled the world is so Damn crucial. su never turned pv's way and still left a ring in the stadium. I can understand people's enthusiasm about pv but southern gave that feeling you get when you walk into a car audio store and hear that sound system you can't afford. big ups to pv tho. I think this was a better battle for southern because actually has a decent staff.

i kinda agree that SU may be the most skilled technical musician band in the swac but i do notice that they do always have one chord to match every song and pv change it up their music its not always in the same chord.
Happy for the improvements the Storm is making they the numbers are helping with a more balance sound. I'm laughing at these comments about PV running SU out their on the stadium, come on now you know damn well no band makes SU leave.

Nobody said PV blew SU out but you can't say that they aren't shit bc clearly to me and others a lot of ppl have some waking up to do. The Storm is know for their clean sound and great arrangements, whereas SU sounds the same on every song with every chord they use. You can see and hear a different in The Storm form '13 to now. PV is on a come up hands down.

Y'all act like they're FAMU or something. This is not PVs first time showing a display of great musicality. They've been doing it. Y'all just now noticing it when Southern has a bad game in football and stands. This ain't brand new. Pv may have never had a super huge band, but they've always had style, class, quality, original arrangements, and even dancing which "certain" schools been tryna jack from them for years ! Y'all better wake up. Their previous band director died not even that long ago and in between the last 3 or 4 years they've still managed to sound great. Now the new one looks like a great choice and only getting better!
they don't give credit when its due. They dominated everybody else but didnt bring that same thang in their own homecoming game pissed everybody off. Then Try to down our Texas Bands like we aint never gave them a run for they money!

Even from the side you can see S.U got this, BUT PV, shocked me.. didn't think they would Run with S.U the way they did.. S.U slippin taking these bands lightly.
Prairie View does Sail byAwolNation,i love it when bands go out of the box,double kudos PV.Southern is strong per usual but nothing out of the ordinary on this clip.SU is the hunted and they must always stay hungry.
SU had more sound but it's clear PVAMU had a better quality in sound. QUALITY WINS ANY DAY WIN GOES TO PV
I'm a former boomer and my lord pvam was perfect. Best battle of 2015. Once you get over SU loudness then that's when you can adequately judge them and then you'll see that's all they have on there side.

There doesn't need to be a camera placed directly in front of either of these bands to tell that both are bringing it...contrary to popular belief. Everybody knows that SU is a powerful band. But IMO, their power didn't save them that night. Whatever excuses SU fans can come up with as to why they didn't take this battle seriously is fine with me. But at the end of that day, PV still got the W.
I'm a huge SU fan..and I don't get why all these excuses are coming out about SU taking a band serious... that's not kind of excuse I want hear from a top tier band like SU
I'm goin with PV on this one and stop making excuses for su if u want to b the best u got to expect everyone to bring they best to u and PV did that u can't play high notes and blast the bell off the horn in every battle that don't impress everyone

Speaking as a former HBCU band member...wow! SU is sick wit it!!! Sound and showmanship! The low brass, especially basses off the chain...best overall balance in each section! PVSU has nice sound but just not that extra umph!

the answer to many of these questions is Su comes prepared to fight against JSU ,because they know if they don't they going to get slaughtered like they did. They didn't respect PV is all and PV kicked that ass on their own Homecoming..JSU IS NOT SLAW...ITS A POWER BAND AND SU KNOWS IT.
