This is the PVAMU I grew to love. They always been a slept on band these last few years. But they have always been one of the best Kept Bands in the SWAC!!! PVAMU you took me back to the late 90's. Love it
Pvamu was bringing str8 smoke💨💨 Then Txsu played... Str8 🔥🔥 I think it's safe to say the state of Texas is well represented this year by these 2 amazing band programs.
Got to give it to pv their sound was more balanced and consistent. Better arrangements and I'm not hating because I use to march in the ocean. I think the ocean always deliver in the power department but the simple arrangements will never challenge or define musicianship. Hope to see them grow this season and hopefully more footage in today's national battle of the bands.

Turning the camera to the side at the end completely told the difference in sound.....PV with the W... but that TxSU Luther Vandrose song off of House Party was nice. Great job both bands....
It irritates me that Texas Southern doesn't know that they at the bottom of the barrel.. they act like they don't know that they have something to prove they don't play like it at all..... no one has the Killer Instinct attitude the attitude of a champion the aggressiveness the thought process of War!....... too soft
Make a small list of bands that feels Texas Southern is a real threat.... show me a few examples up some universities that fear Texas Southern..... show me a battle footage of Texas Southern even coming halfway are all the way as far as victory is concerned

Txsu sounds good but I still cant hear trumpets. They are getting covered up and really don't have screamers. But great job. Pvu still sounds just a lil sloppy to me but sounds better than last year, but that 7 rings was 🔥. good job.
I really like/liked the arrangement of that ariana Grande song until they lost they damn minds and tried to blow they gd lips off. Clean that up. Pleaseeee. It would be so much better
Overall sound and song selection PV gets the W. Ive heard "victory lap" from bands all summer and the last song txsu played wasn't the best response in my opinion.
I have nothing bad to say about either band. I’m Ocean for Life but PV sounds better. We are need balance!! The arrangements are written for power, that doesn’t cut it all the time. The numbers in the trumpet section will be our Achilles Heel. Good First Game

wassup zymbalistik man u do a great job on ur band media very unbiased and great location like always...NOW ON TO THE BATTLE...both bands sound great and i know pv hang out in here but txsu with the w....again song selection diversity quality sound and range and technicality...pv sounds great but for my musical ear they tend to sound the same on every song no diversity and no range in their song selection a safe sounding band that has a quality sound for some pv and aamu remind me of eachother...that headbussa reindition was nice...oh yea now dat txsu has balanced out with trumpets and showing that contrast in dynamics i wonder whats the excuse gonna be this year when they face all bands
