Thank you. I was researching easy to care for Aquarium plants to put in s Betta tank. The Anubias came up and I watched some videos about gluing them to driftwood. I appreciated your video because it was short, but I got the detailed information that I wanted. I am going to put some on a small piece of driftwood in my 15 gallon column betta tank. This video confirmed that the Anubias is the type of plant that I want.
Just bought my first Anubias barteri plant as I've always had plastic plants in my three foot tropical tank. I noticed the fish are always on the top probly gasping for air so I'm starting to buy teal plants. Just watched your video on how to plant it I will stick it with Gorrila glue to a log I've got and hopefully buy more in the coming weeks. Thanks for the video and advice. Because I've sand in my tank I was wondering how the plant was going to grow.
Your home is aquarium and house plant goals! Anubias is one of those cant-kill-plants that I seem to be able to kill. I can grow the most bougie plant except the ones everybody else can keep. Like I killed Java Moss and I'm not sure if i should be ashamed or proud. Anubias always turns yellow and melts on me. I just bought a Anubias barteri var. glabra "pinto" hybrid (bougie) and anubias Nana. Hopefully I'll have better luck
@greysunshine This is me and omg my husband bought me 2 small cactus 🌵 and was like babe dont kill it 😮😂😂and your comment was hilarious and gave me a good laugh 😂😂😂
I impulse bought mine! Gonna try attaching it to a rock. Only problem I can see is the ones I have are all pretty smooth so might not work too well. Fingers crossed!!
I was wondering 🤔 How the super glue isnt harmful to fish but I dunno but would love to add some plants but I just got my tank a couple weeks ago and Its my 1st one and Im a lil nervous on whats right or wrong and all the other questions #PATIENCE IS KEY IM LEARNING WITH THIS TANK AND FISH ON TOP OF BUYING A FISH THAT WAS PREGGO AND THAT WAS A SHOCK 😮😮😮
@@SMKNGRL420 I got my first tank a month ago and started the cycling process with a couple of plants. The water was too cold, they almost died so I bought a heater. Everything was going well so I then bought more plants and oops! Snail invasion!! Should have cleaned the plants. Lesson learned. I took out the gravel and put it in a strainer in the bath to clean later but left them there for a day. Big mistake... my cat peed in them! Now I'm starting the cycling process of the tank all over again with new gravel and the same plants (which have been thoroughly cleaned this time). Can't wait to start putting some fish in it :D One day... one day...
I have 2 anubias broad leaf that are just gently wedged in to wood barely staying still in the current of the 2 seachem tidal 110s. I used no glue or string or anything. Do you think the roots will eventually attach to the wood. Occasionally one floats to the top because it's so gently pushed in to the hole in the driftwood...thank you in advance for any assistance. You cam see the issue on my channel in my 55g. It's the 2 anubias in the very front of my tank near the center. They're absolutely stunning, but I'm just afraid the roots will never attach
I'm new to the fish hobby. I have an Anubias Congensis and an Anubias Nana that i bought at PetSmart. I have them buried in the substrate which is gravel, and I am not sure which one, but the leaves are turning yellow, and neither one is growing. They have been in the tank for about is about 2 months. Also I have a Narrow leaf fern and I can't tell if it's algae or the leaves are dying but them look like they have brown spots on them. How do i care for them. I have glo and zebra danios and a betta in the tank. I have been dealing with an ammonia spike in the tank that is about 25 ppm. Any help would be appreciated
My anubias has some brown tinge on it and its the only plant with it. The tanks been cycling for 2 weeks now with crystal clear water. I hope it doesnt die
your house is so nice! i have a question though, what kind of black sand do you use? i currently have fluval stratum in my tank but i love the look of black sand
Hi Chris Flemming here i have I have a 38 gallon aquarium would the EHEIM Jager Aquarium Thermostat Heater 150W work in my aquarium it' says the 150 watt is rated for a 53-79 gallons aquarium
I’m really struggling with Anubias and Java fern..apparently the easiest plants to grow lol…any advice would be appreciated…I use all fluval plant 3.0 but not sure what they should be set at for growing Anubias,JF,Val,swords.. One of my tanks is 24 deep and the other is 18 deep…I have 2 fluval plant 3.0 36s on my 135g And one 22 on my 33g…we have soft water here…I use root tabs for val and swords but really want my Anubias to thrive and take over…help lol
I’ve been keepin’ Anubias Nana for almost 10 years and it grows like crazy but I’ve only gotten one flower since I got it I don’t understand what I’m doin’ wrong🤔
My Anubias are yellowing and having week stems despite white light 6 hours a day. I add iron and potassium for at least 3 months and don’t see improvements. Can someone help? I am keeping Geophagus, rainbows, Congo tetras etc in my 125g tank. Thanks!

Good tips, curious about different types of Anubis’s and appreciate the peroxide tip for the algae on leaves
Very awesome video nice

Great video. I learned a few things.

Awesome video bro thank you for the useful information ❤

My dreamhouse!
I’m just starting my aquarium got the substrate and two Anubias plants and a few others
Just subscribed. Question, would they survive in a blackwater tank?
I impulse bought mine! Gonna try attaching it to a rock. Only problem I can see is the ones I have are all pretty smooth so might not work too well. Fingers crossed!!
Thanks, I just saw your vedio on anubias. I want plants that will reduce the Nitrate on my 55gal tank.
Why not use regular sewing tread to attach it?

I dont have gel, just regular super glue, will that work? Thanks for the video!

i only have a betta fish, do i need a fertilizer on this regard? i saw some browning on the leaves 😭
Do they have to be on wood or rock or can they thrive in sand??

What part of the plant do you stick the glue?

My anubias is fine for a while and then I vacuum my substrate and all the leaves fall off! I'm not sure why my leaves are falling off!?!?
“Easiest plant to take care of”
*me looking at my wilting anubias*
What’s up man
You forgot to say not to put glue on the rhizome or bury it. Otherwise, it will die.
Then just glue the roots?
"6000k is extremely white"
Now when my wife says: "you're pale".
I can say: "I'm 6000k"
Less light would help control the algae
Iron in the water will take care of the algae
