Hey friend! Impressive, a masterpiece. It reminds me of a very Williams-esque style, with elegant and sophisticated orchestration, something I'm far from being able to do myself just yet. Let's say my style is more Zimmer-like. My sincerest congratulations! Cheers.
I don't think they'll open the competition to previous winners this year either... I'm just taking part in creating something hopefully exciting for a nice short movie ;)
Bravo Ferenc! Absolutely unprecedented MIDI orchestration, you do it better than maybe most of the professionals out there. CSS is an absolutely gorgeous sample library and you use 100% of its power.
Thank you so much, David, it means a lot. ...yeah, CSS has a soul, and I always discover something more nuanced, tiny thing in it, piece by piece. But of course, it costs for extra work: for example, I design automation curves exclusively by hand for 42 parameters on the five string section tracks (a combined racked instrument with the CSSS, as a two-layered library on four MIDI tracks, etc.). This can be exhaustive (but also exciting) so I really appreciate your excellent attention. 🤗
@@ferencbatri I can hear you are doing it by hand, it is the only proper way to create a MIDI orchestral piece. Millions of mousing on curves, re-automating it after auditioning it over and over and 42 parameters, wow! No wonder it sounds so good. I know a lot of composers who do MIDI but man, most of them barely touch this excellence. Hope to get to some competition composing also but currently I gotta focus on other stuff hehe.
Wonderful and gently orchestration...the crescendo is very well built. Rhythmic is fantasticly well introduced with the brass.....Great job!!! I really appreciate your imagination, there are very delicate and beautiful passages, I truly love it.......Best of luck on the competition!!!! I submitted mine few days ago too...Cheers Idol 😉👍
Man this is incredible both in composition of themes and in orchestration! And what an amazing work in dynamics! Really impressing track! Are they mostly recorded by a midi or made through the computer?
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it. Everything is edited manually in the MIDI editor. Recording can't work well and efficiently for me where a track is automated with at least 10-12 parameters, and I don't have usable keyboard playing skills... Maybe it'll be change a bit in the future: as a former woodwind player, a couple of days ago I began to use EWI and I really enjoy it 🤗
@@ferencbatri Ok, it is difficult for me too, so I understand. I was a trombone player before so I may feel what you say. Keep on this wonderful work bro!
You really did a great job, what immediately stands out is an excellent orchestration ability. You accompanied the scene very well, congratulations!
Thank you so much 🤗
This is so impressive. You're a wonderful musical world builder! Thanks for treating our ears 🙃
Thank you so much. I'm glad you like it. 🤗

Thank you, I'm very grateful for that. Indeed, I won't deny that I'm a big fan of John Williams' music.😇
Bravo! I regret having missed BIFSC2025, the animation is amazing, I had already seen that from the sound design competition
Thank you so much 🤗
@@ferencbatri The score is really good and could easily make it to the top 3, good luck!

This is fantastic! Your spotting for rhythm, texture, and emotion was 👌. Skillful orchestration as always!
Thanks a lot 🤗
Your scores are sick as always.
Thanks 😁
Amazing!!! I kept forgetting this is all samples... just incredible.
Thanks a lot 🤗
This is incredible orchestral work, excellent storytelling!
Thank you so much, Elijah, I appreciate much :)
There's one of the three winners right here. Bravo

Thanks for the encouragement; that's what I'll do. 🙌
Brilliant work as usual. Well done!
