A guy in one of my ensembles in my jazz school proposed playing N.E.W from Blue Giant on our semester exam this winter. Working on it right now, and thinking about watching this movie, looks cool
Luckily I got to see it theaters with my dad who’s been a professional jazz musician for 40 plus years. It was truly a treat. Bought it on blu ray when I came out back in May. I actually plan to do a video essay on it myself. So I’m super happy to see it get some love.

My favorite movie of 2023
I missed it in theaters sadly but am thrilled it is on Netflix so more people can enjoy it. Hoping they explore the other arcs too
