Isn't devops QA engineer role the same as devops role? I don't see any difference between these. Why include QA in it? It seems like a pure devops role.

Sir, what about scrum master role from QA?

It seems to me like the QA career choice is really a choice with very limited scope in progression to the very top.
I don't know of any company that the CTO started his/her career in QA, they usually start off as developers then moved on to project management and then programme management and then CTO.
From your descriptions It looks like the only way you can become a CTO of a major firm is to go the product owner route then move on to become a project manager and then progress onto programme manager and then eventually become a CTO.
I would not advice any fresher with a computing degree to go into QA, besides you are paid less in QA than all the others.
